Dude! I needed to know was it sweaty and was it comfy and you answered these! I want something that gets air circulation between the bag and your back and something super comfy. Seems like I will have to go with something from Osprey.
Glad to be helpful! Hahaha I don’t know if you have to by an Osprey but they do make kick ass bags. There are other super comfy, breathable bags from timbuck2 and north face as well as smaller niche companies.

same here, i really love the exterior beauty of this bag! but lacks on the functionality, mostly on the implementation of the front buckle and interior which is so dark. But if they will introduce another version of this, they should include more organization on the main compartment. Love your videos!

Great review David! I have the regular classic rover and its very well built and I love the aesthetics. My only thing is I find the bag a little on the small size. Its listed as a 20L but I swear its probably more like 16-17L. The water bottle holder could also use a bit more stretch so that it be easier to fit in a bottle and not take space from within the bag as well.

I've been hesitating a lot to buy this backpack for the size of it, and you video is the only one who clearly shows every compartment. Although on their oficial website I see that the top part materials are not cordura but in fact straight 1000D x 200D nylon. I do remember most if not all their rover packs used to be made in USA and with cordura, but it seems only the uncrated versions is the only one with cordura now :(
Nonetheless, I think this pack although beautiful is way too small for my needs, I would probably buy it if it wasn't over a 100 usd haha

Everything about this review is 100% accurate. Good review that wasn’t reading off just the spec sheet. I had to return this pack mainly due to the buckles that at first was the aesthetic selling point. Trying to get into the main compartment quickly was not possible. The loops the buckles attach to are very grippy meaning they make it difficult for the buckle to slide in or out. The buckles on boundary supply’s prima is so much better even though I know that’s a significantly bigger pack. However the side access makes it easier to get into the main compartment. love the look but those buckles look like they would annoy the shit out of me. They have similar buckles on their waist straps on the 30L and 40L bags so hard to do/undo. Does it seem like you could take those buckles off or are they sewn on?
Omg agree. They are pretty annoying after a day or two. Sadly sewn in…

Would you recommend this bag for a college student with several books and for everyday use?
Yes and no. It’s a great bag for probably a laptop and maybe 2 textbooks (think college kind). You may run into some size limitations though if you’ll need a lot more than that
