This is an incredible episode. Maybe my favorite BCP so far. True enthusiasm and the most interested I’ve ever been in golfing in my life. Dope collection - goes without saying. My favorite watches of his are the John Mayer, quartz tank, and the Laurent Ferrier piece unique.
What a fantastic episode. Keith is super passionate and just a clear fan of the watch industry both the macro and micro. Always good to see someone who is a HUGE hodinkee fan get a chance to share their story.
It's wild how I was introduced to Keith through a GM Golf (Good Good) video, afterwhich I started following him on Tour - now I'm watching him on Hodinkee talking so genuinely and passionately about watches. Never would've thought the two worlds would collide like this! I'm sure glad it did - incredible episode.
I’m a big golfer and newly found watch lover. I’ve always thought KM was a little stuffy but after watching this he seems like genuinely cool dude 🙏🏼 Respect
Awesome episode. The 5320G cream dial is even more versatile but that salmon is killer. Along with the 5236p and 5326g my favorite Patek. The Laurent one off is obviously fantastic. He’s got that and the 116508 that he can wear around Augusta. Btw, nice guy. Very relatable. Fantastic game, too. Hope he wins a Masters. Would be fitting for many reasons.
Why not just go ahead and make this a dedicated Talking Watches episode? Have him bring his collection, put it on a table and discuss. Seems as though you’re trying to separate yourselves from TW but haven’t.
Please Hodinkee, give him a watch roll that has separators between watches. Those case sides must be scratched quite a bit by the crown of it's neighbor. Lovely episode btw.
I love how Ben throws in he is a novice golfer at a 6 handicap. I'm a 13 handicap, and a 6 might as well be on Tour. That is impressive and I wouldn't say novice. Modest.
What a great interview, I am not a golf person and I knew nothing about Keith, lovely humble guy. The only downside was seeing all those crowns hitting on cases...
Great discussion and I loved Keith’s thoughts on having a couple different sets of clubs for different intentions. Cool vs competitive! Ben: please lose the microphones. It is so distracting. Thanks for making great content.
Why do ALL watch guys pronounce Patek two different ways? Sometimes in the same sentence??? This has been driving me in insane for awhile now. Can I get some clarity fam?
So, why not the blue dial WG. This has puzzled me ever since. It could just be that one sentence from John, “to a slightly lesser extent, the midnight blue dial”… take any other watch brand, Patek, AP, VC for example and it’s the steel/WG blue dial virtually always… and it’s more wearable in more situations.
I didn't even know he played golf you'd have thought it would have come up sometime. Now that he's a multi millionaire he's got the money & time to practice.

My favorite of the "Ben Clymer Presents" series. Someone truly passionate about watches. Great to see.
Keith is the new John Mayer. Loved it!
lol yeah right
Keith pays too many people Ben Hogan didn't even have a caddy.

Keith is a cool guy but he's hiring way too many people Ben Hogan didn't even have a caddy.
One of the best pieces of YT watch content put out in a long time. Cheers to B.C. & Mr KM Mitchell
You can see and feel the passion Keith has about watches. His collection is absolutely incredible. Great episode!
Outstanding interview gentleman, Keith really knows his stuff about watches and I really enjoyed listening to all the golf Chat. Well done!
Oh man, this episode just blows my mind! I like Keith even more now. Great stuff!
Keith is my favorite golfer. Seems like a legit hang. Get a lot of style inspo from him. Waiting for him to get in that winner circle once more!

Great, Great Video Ben1 Casual golf fan, but now I’m a big fan of Keith! Clearly he’s one of us and a great interview. Keep em’ coming
Man, I have been hoping for this episode for a while now! Thanks for doing it
Please Hodinkee, give him a watch roll that has separators between watches. Those case sides must be scratched quite a bit by the crown of it's neighbor. Lovely episode btw.
exactly. not sure why people buy these rolls. louis vuitton rolls don't have dividers either. what are they thinking!
Both my vices colliding!! Great episode
Love it...this is a talking watches episode. Did they talking about the Cartier Tank on his wrist or did I miss it?
Yes. 34 min in.
One of your best ever episodes
Great episode. More of this!
Fantastic episode, enjoyed every second of it 👍🏼😊
"I want the best example and I want to wear it" true WIS lunacy 👍
REALLY loved this one! my favourite yet!
This woulda been a cool talking watches. Really enjoyed listening to Keith, he just got himself a new fan.
Brilliant episode. Well done. 🎉
ben clymer presents feels like vintage talking watches so good
I love how Ben throws in he is a novice golfer at a 6 handicap. I'm a 13 handicap, and a 6 might as well be on Tour. That is impressive and I wouldn't say novice. Modest.
I didn't know Ben played golf. But Keith pays way too many people Ben Hogan didn't even have a caddy.
6 hdcp is very far from a novice. Not sure of Ben is trying to be modest, or is playing some other sport. 😂
Awesome but please add timestamp! You have them in the article/podcast link so why not add them on youtube
Ben Clymer/John Mayer interviews also got me into watches.
Awesome episode. Go Dawgs!!
What a great interview, I am not a golf person and I knew nothing about Keith, lovely humble guy. The only downside was seeing all those crowns hitting on cases...
Enjoyed this
We need the whole lineup!
I’d want the date of my PGA Tour win on it rather than the day I watched a YT video 😂
A Serpico y Laino co-branded watch, like the Patek 2526 shown is a grail for me as a Venezuelan, is a reminder of a rich oil past.
There’s one in the Theo and Harris store, gold oyster
Why not clip on mics?
What a legend
My new favorite talking watches!
Justin Thomas needs to be up next!! Guy has a hell of a collection.
Great discussion and I loved Keith’s thoughts on having a couple different sets of clubs for different intentions. Cool vs competitive! Ben: please lose the microphones. It is so distracting. Thanks for making great content.
Please do a talking watches with Keith! That would be awesome.
6 handicap and own a ton of cool watches.... geeze Clymer
Love this series and golf, but I wonder if the mics with wires are intentional.
Corded Mics? Vintage? Nice.
Cool
I love / hate the refs number dropping... It's snobbish and nerdish... I get it I get it. Very cool Patek!
Why do ALL watch guys pronounce Patek two different ways? Sometimes in the same sentence??? This has been driving me in insane for awhile now. Can I get some clarity fam?
massive mic’s are unnecessary and distracting
Wtf is a padek..
Tiger expected to win Everytime. He said he never played for second place.
Ben Hogan didn't even have a caddy.
Not first!
alternative title "How Keith sold Ben a John"
I’d gladly trade my circle T putter for any of his watches 🤣🤣
So, why not the blue dial WG. This has puzzled me ever since. It could just be that one sentence from John, “to a slightly lesser extent, the midnight blue dial”… take any other watch brand, Patek, AP, VC for example and it’s the steel/WG blue dial virtually always… and it’s more wearable in more situations.
cringe at all of his watches rubbing up against each other in his watch roll...get one with dividers, son.
Keith. You need a Lange 1815 up down in your life
Lol. A six hdcp is not a novice. If you’re a 6 hdcp, and not shot shaping, that’s savant behavior.
Yo wait, Ben is a 6 hdc and acting like he's a "mid" handicapper?!
I didn't even know he played golf you'd have thought it would have come up sometime. Now that he's a multi millionaire he's got the money & time to practice.
Cashmere , it's winning time !
Got my dad a black dial datejust when he came to visit me.. He said put in my bag, no thank you, no nothing. Parents sometimes don't deserve anything
:( speak to him about it
