I like your channel it’s plain simple and to the point nice job Mopar Joe I’ve been a Mopar fans of the little kid that’s all I drive and work on. Lol.
True been a Mopar guy my whole life trying to adapt hey 4150 Holly Street avenger to a wide bore intake manifold lol any advice on throttle linkage all that good stuff
@@cbobmonster I believe the slant 6 throttle cables are longest, to keep from binding the cable. Other than that, I like to adapt the stock cable holders if possible. Sometimes you can take a flat piece of metal and weld in the middle between the clamp and base.
Yes, I was thinking the same thing looks like it needs to come up a little bit, but I’ll figure something out runs a hell of a lot better than a Quadra jet lol thanks for the advice
Love it!!! When I installed my dust over it made same noise. I almost had a heart attack, I just flipped it over but had to change my shorts real quick. You did an amazing job. Would love to see what this runs at the track for fun!!
Thanks brother. I trimmed this cover to fit the bigger 360 rear main seal, so I had space to get a hook in and pull the cover away from the bolts. That did the trick. I actually have a period correct sure grip to install in this car, then traction should be greatly improved. It pulled really strong from around 1,800 on, but I was scared I was going in the ditch with that steering.
Your bag of tricks never disappoints! The wire harness is pure genius! Quality restoration!! That any car guy would love to have!! Keep doing what you do!!
your workmanship shows in your videos. Cool trick with the wires going through the stock harness. Thank you very much for the call out, that means a lot to me. Happy Thanksgiving
Thanks brother. You may notice the tire started smoking a second after the gas pedal went down. I believe it needs some lighter springs on the front needles. It’s a small cam, but one size larger than a 340 magnum cam. Moved pretty good for a sled with 2.94 gear and home ported 318 heads on a 360 block.
I noticed your engine hoist does not have a swivel connection, I bought one of those for mine a few years ago and it surely helps when you're by yourself putting an engine in otherwise the chain always wants to twist the engine. I bought the last one from Harbor Freight and it works great. You should get one and try it
Thanks, Thomas. I will check it out. I bought a leveler a few years back and hate it. It’s typically hitting the firewall, or in the way. I’ll check for a swivel.
joe you do some fine work, i love this old coronet for some reason. i have never been a four door man but i like this one. i hope to see it in person when you return it to the owner down here in tx.
Another good informative video . That water leak is just a minor problem . Always gonna be some little something to test your patience . I like all the little details of the things you fix as you go . Good job !
Car looks great. glad those headers worked out. I use a 70s/80's factory aluminum water neck with the gasket surface belt sanded flat or 6 " orbital DA sanded with 150 grit .
Far as I no the Poly 318 T Flight is geared lower in 1 st an 2nd . Then the later T. Flight . Going by . The Australian early Dodge Phoenix here on The T. Flight . Got to love a poly shame he didn’t rebuild the poly as they can be set up to go hard an they pull hard . The exhaust on a poly with the right system kills the late model 318 . Nice job anyway super clean .
I hope to live to see the day my '65 Coronet hardtop 4 speed looks & sounds as solid as yours now does. PS...mine has those same (pretty rare) A/C vents on top the dash.
@@JustMoparJoe If I get a car and they have 14-16 psi caps I usually leave them on the car. But that T-stat housing should have held even at 19psi, even though I wouldn't run a 19 psi on a classic.
Wish it was always like that, looking forward to seeing the stock stroke 400 build, upon further inspection the 440 that is in my 73 charger is a Block not an RB, but it is not all bad as the 383/400 are fine engines now I have to crawl underneath and get the #s for an exact date and size, so I hope you can share some of the part#, thanks for sharing how much a production block can be out of whack
Thank you. The power steering will help some of that slack out, but I am going to readjust the worm gear as well. If there’s no leaks, it should be good to go.

I appreciate that! I see so many fake UA-cam channels with people acting. I try to keep it real. Definitely making mistakes and learning from them.

Cope and JMJ, as real as it gets.
It's always a milestone moment in a project when it comes to life and moves down the road. Looks like she runs strong! The exhaust sounds awesome too!
Thanks Todd. It’s still got more in it. Gotta fox brakes and steering!
Smoking Tires and Sweating Horsepower!!! Good Job Joe! That thing is a runner!
Thanks Duddie! There’s gotta be 1/2 a turn slack in that box. Tractor style
Its very close now. Once that alignment and PS is hooked back up it will drive like a dream.
Thanks brother! Coming on this week.
Pulls real good for a small block in a "B" body.

I’d be proud to have that Coronet in my collection . Love the car after all the work you’ve done on it. Great job as always Joe.
I appreciate it Mark. It’s been a long road on this one.
I love your description regarding the alignment! She chases rabbits! Lol you're a hoot!
Thanks Big Mike! Gotta keep it between the ditches!
I like that little wire hack. Thrashing all the bugs out, the proper way. LOL
Thanks brother. A test drive is good for the soul!
Cool old car. Keep picking at it, that will be a sweetheart when it's done.
I appreciate the support!
It's great to see it on the road! Just about ready for the next project!
Thanks buddy! It’s getting to the fun part now.

Thanks Terry! So many little unexpected things like that column. They need to be done to make the car right.
Sounds healthy, that Coronet turned out beautiful. I dug the music, cool episode!
Thanks, Jay! Sometimes you gotta drive them early or lose all hope!
Very nice Joe, good workmanship. I think the owner will be very pleased with what you have managed to accomplish. Stay safe.
Thanks Scott! There will be bugs to kill, but it was nice to finally make a drive.
Good job Joe , that coronet has come a long way !
Thanks Johnny! Little more to the finish 👍🏼
When it’s time for the “bank job” let me know, I’ll drive. 🏦 💰

Great Job on the restoration Joe. The looks awsome and your work excellent.

Haha! Some days more than others! But this one was a payoff day. I’ve got some fun stuff planned before it goes home.
Dang Joe it is a good thingg your tall with the boat seat in there.

Wow Joe, after listening to that I'm guessing you own the official 'Chips" soundtrack Anthology on 8-track ? 🤔 🤣🤣 ..
Haha! This one was unofficial 😂. But I do have the first 4 seasons on dvd
Great video!!!

Hey John
Thanks for watching Dave
Dude! Where do you find your late 60's early 70's jazzy hi-hat jazz flute theme music?? Very cool 😎

T-stat housings.... Every Time !!!!! 🤦♂ That will make a quick '65 and a fun drive !!!!
