I love this Angela! You always make such beautiful envelope projects. I love the tree background page. I celebrate Winter Solstice. When our amazing Mother Earth shifts back to more light. I am making little journals for my friends/family. So half are Christmas and other half are nature based. It’s such a wonderful season, I just miss the snow. Thanks for your lovely inspirations! Hugs ❤️🤗☃️🎄
Good morning, Angela, what a lovely idea, thank you for your kind words, today not feeling so well, maybe later I will attempt doing this, thanks for sharing, enjoy your day, big hugs Angela.🤗
These are fun! I’m so far behind in making my gifts that it won’t be until the week before Christmas that I put my trees up. I have small tabletop ones, one for the right side of my desk under the window, and one on top of the dining area table under that window off the living room (I rarely use that table). The den tree has old antique looking Santas, and the dining room one has more glitz. Love me some Christmas glitz, don’t you? I live in a small condominium with tons of big windows and not much wall space or storage space, so I had to get rid of my 8 foot artificial tree and all of those ornaments…donated it all to my church for the children’s Sunday School classroom. The surface areas get filled with my big Santa collection…each one is dressed in an outfit from a different country. I’ve been collecting them for years, but their boxes do take up a lot of my precious storage areas. But worth the effort, it looks so festive when everything is done, and I usually don’t put my Christmas decorations away until after Little Christmas in mid January.
I love to recycle and have then something pretty to show for it. There is something sweet about mini ephemera. The way that you use ribbon on top of your tags is so fetching. Love fat journals. Your graphics are SO eye-catching 💚. I will make my own window. Our postal workers are on strike and i do not have an envelope that will work. Beautiful green trim. 💌
Hi Angela!! Such pretty, pretty envelopes!! I always love your envelope projects!! Our tree has been up since mid November!! I hope to get my shopping done by early next week!! TFS!! Hugs, Liz:)
Wonderful what you did with that mailer ❤ In the Netherlands we celebrate Sinterklaas' Birthday (dec. 6), tomorrow is the special night. Mainly for children. Later we celebrate Christmas.
Thank you, Angela ☺️ It is also celebrated in Belgium, Germany and a bit in France. Saint Nicholas has been transformed into Santa Claus. I think it has all merged together 😁
I love your envelope projects!❤ You really know how to transform envelopes into gorgeousness!❤ You are such a genius!❤ I did it!❤ I got caught up on your videos!❤ From your friend (and Chicken) from across the pond, 🐣🐥Ruth M Finley 🐣🐥
This is soooo pretty Angela - I love your reindeer dish! Do you recall where you purchased that? Also the die cuts that were in the dish - are you able to link this dies?
Yes, I do. The reindeer dish comes from Waitrose, here in the Uk. The decorations are from a tutorial I made a few years back. Here is the link. ua-cam.com/video/n8-rhh3p8j4/v-deo.htmlsi=ydfkwOaYvKKWnmNW
I don't celebrate Christmas at all. There was no celebration of it in the Bible, and many of the festivities tied to it come from the Roman Saturnalia that was to celebrate their Pagan god Mithra. The Bible says to flee from idolatry. The tree is an idol symbol and sadly the star that is so venerated was the star in the Bible that led the Magi, or otherwise known as astrologers to King Herod who secretly wanted Jesus killed. Then after they went to him, it led them to the child, who was no longer living in a stable, but was already over the age of 1 year. The astrologers had to be given a divine warning to go home another way, and Joseph and Mary were told to flee Bethlehem to Egypt. Soon after Herod realized the astrologers were not coming to him, he ascertained where the child had been living and sent his military men to go kill all the baby boys under the age of two. Christmas is a holiday among many others that actually hurts God's heart. Sadly many people think they are honoring Jesus on that day, however, the Bible teaches that Jesus was not born on that day, but actually was born about the time of early October. The only two birthdays ever celebrated in the Bible, were not servants of God, and something cruel happened to people on that day.
I know Jesus was not born on 25th December. To me it is a day for giving thanks and in remembrance of His birth. Celebrating His birth brings happiness to my heart, the same as Easter. I definitely do not idolize the tree, the star etc. It’s just my way of witnessing to those around me. Me thinks you are being very religious 😢
@@jengriffiths7460-j6s I take in God's feelings and what the Bible says about not worshipping idols. There are so many days, 365 to be exact to show our gratefulness and love to God without including Pagan celebrations. The Bible is His word, we should study and live by it. Yes, I am very religious, but I haven't always been. The Bible changes lives and I was not on a good course many years ago. I learned truths from the Bible that I had never heard in a church before. The Bible clearly states that "those doing the will of God will be saved". Please read Jesus words at Matthew 7:21-27, also 1 John 2:17. I don't tell anyone else not to celebrate, I only explain why I don't. Here is one more thought from the Bible at John 4:23,24. We must worship based on God's word, not our own thinking and desires. God's word is truth. John 17:17. I hope you will consider these thoughts and study the Bible, it is an amazing book and it changes lives for the better. Have a lovely day.
