A Job For The Pros! | Raccoon Family In Chimney
Вставка
- Опубліковано 9 тра 2021
- Five baby racoons were living at the bottom of a chimney with their mother. These babies are around 6 weeks of age and are beginning to be mobile.
Babies born at the bottom of a chimney won’t start foraging with their mother until they are much older than babies inside an attic. This is due to the climb to the top of the chimney being very advanced for a young raccoon.
Watch how difficult it was for us to grab the babies from inside the damper and how much of a handful they are!

yup thats youtube for ya! Thanks again for the great work you guys do!
Are you filming on an iPhone?
I have come to hate UA-cam for the ease with which they hassle excellent content providers.
I know it's a nuisance to have them in the chimney or attic but they are gorgeous little creatures. They are hissing and biting because they're terrified and missing their mother. I appreciate the humane way you do a difficult and challenging service. Great videos!
Thank you for including the after events. I love seeing the mom pick up the babies.
The babies are called “kits”.
@@tedmulthauf7434 oh man i love that..so cute.."kits"
yep, THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!❤❤❤🙏
@7:37 - That one baby that fell out of her arm and started walking away put his/her paw up like, "Excuse me, hold your space and talk to the paw". The cuteness!
lmaooo
yes, that was pretty much the racoon version of "flipped a finger" :D
Baby raccoon said “I’M A SOVEREIGN CITIZEN, AND THUSLY UNDER NO LEGAL OBLIGATION TO PRESENT YOU WITH AN ID. GOOD DAY TO YOU, SIR!”
I laughed so hard at that part, he stopped like: "you don't see me... oh shish, you do see me" *proceeds to run in another direction*
That mama has been through this before, that's why she triple checked. A new mother raccoon might not do this, she might be too afraid and just not come back. Or she might just take one or two and skeedaddle. That's where people like me come in. I raise the left behinders. I can't tell people how to run their business, but, I can help orphans. I am so thankful for people like this who actually care about the animals and do the extra work involved in saving them. THANK YOU!!!
She certainly has her paws full. Having 5 rambunctious toddlers!
7:30 I don’t think they’re mad at each other, I think they’re mad at you guys for putting them in a bag 😂 😂
Idk, they sound pretty angry either way
What a brave young lady!! I was so afraid that momma raccoon was going to attack when she reached inside the chimney.
Shes wearing pretty thick rubber gloves. But still nerve racking none the less
@@RandomPersonsOpinion yeah and besides the gloves she was blindly going face first inside the chimney searching for the raccoons without really knowing what exactly where the mother was. I was also scared that the mom would attack. I’ve seen Cassandra do that time and time again also. She’s so brave. Wow.
Mums are lazy
One of the babies was so very quiet, he or she was like a thistle, sticking to the brave young woman. I had to laugh at how slippery they are, and running off, lol they have met the great green outdoors and they don’t want to go back in the bag. I hope they were all taken out of the chimney, she seemed to be thoughtful at the end there after she came back to check and having removed all 5, they certainly are a handful.
Cute overload. The professional lady is so cute too & talks softly. Perhaps that's an added plus to the success stories. I love that the grass was not poisoned by weed killer. "Dandelions are good for your lawn. Their wide-spreading roots loosen hard-packed soil, aerate the earth and help reduce erosion. The deep taproot pulls nutrients such as calcium from deep in the soil and makes them available to other plants. Dandelions actually fertilize the grass." What a fabulous property & a great place for baby raccoons & squirrels to be romping around. Please do not use weed killer. Canada geese also have to eat that stuff. God. take a snip at 11:10 & a little beyond. Awesome success story. It went perfectly this time. Two thumbs up.
To one mom of 5 to another, I can relate! 😂
My trips to the supermarket were reminiscent of this. -Raccoons- kid's running everywhere
Bless your heart. I have 3 & can relate lol❣️
She is super brave I really appreciate people who do this though
Came back one last time and closed up on the camera to send you guys a final message. She wasn't cool with all your shenanigan's, making her do all that work for hoomans sake.
Great job guys. Very interesting how a Mother Racoon takes such good care of thier babies racoons.
You do such a wonderful job rescuing the babies and reuniting them with their Mom.
🥰 Thank you for rescuing those babies. 🦝🦝🦝🦝🦝
wow can't imagine how much work it must be for a momma who has to take care of such feisty critters. Its would be a full days works thats for sure. That would be a cool job! meet all these different critters each day.
She’s a pro
Once out, they don’t want to go back! Mama is only way out!! Exciting life you lead. Thank you so much. Gives me joy!
You guys have hearts of gold.
thank you for keeping me sane in this weird world of news that boggles the mind.
ok yeah this is a repeat.
@@rofflesufunny yes sorry about that, we were required to take down the previous one unfortunately due to a song that we used. A new video will be posted this week!
@@gateswildlife Appreciate it! also, your daughter is beautiful, let me find out she's looking for a guy who loves animals too.
- 7:39 *"he said, hey 👋🏼 buddy, just goin for a stroll, all is well, carry on"*
I wish we had these beautiful creatures here in England. Thanks for the video.
Really? You want a dog-cat-creature w/ opposable thumbs roaming around, opening unfastened equipment, living under your porch all day, working in teams to roll up hundreds of yards of turf at night, etc?? Yes, they are cute, but they are also smart and destructive. I like them, kind of, but they're a bit much lol
11:07 아기 라쿤 너무 귀여워요!! Baby raccoon SO CUTE!!!
Raccoon is so cute that I'm watching a video of them almost every day, and UA-cam Algorithms brought me here!!
The house owner can drive raccoons out, and I can watch cute raccoons. It's a great video!😆🦝🦝❤💌💖🥰
This a super team both seem to love what they do and are so gentile with the animals . I have developed a whole new respect for Raccoons.
Blessings to your crew!!! ❤❤❤❤
Where I live we have a problem with feral cats. Lots of cats everywhere. I've fostered many kittens from a feral and non-feral mom. For some reason I love watching these videos about raccoon rescue. So nice to see such humane people.
He came to me and stole my heart.. cuties.
You guys are so amazing & are so respectful of each animal. Thank you for all you do!!
I want one!,!! They are soooo cute!
I love those babies so much, they are adorable! The confused looks! And the escape attempts! Just lovely!
Love that you're helping them relocate, hopefully to a site where they are safe and don't have to relocate again.
That is one AWESOME video you folks posted. Thanks so much in going out of your way to rescue these little baby raccoons and making arrangements for their mother to find them and relocate them. I've had two pet raccoons that I had the pleasure of having and raising, and it's not for everyone, but I certainly enjoy them, like my own dogs! They are simply amazing, intelligent creatures that LOVE to get into things, like NO OTHER!
Yeah, sure, I'll watch it again.
Such sweeties!!! The one is an angry little dude or dudette!! LOL 7:30 ... I am outta here, folks!!!! I love that you are so caring with the critters and that you always make sure they are reunited with Mom... really enjoy seeing the reunions....
Figured it was just another chimney rescue, could watch these forever.
Try James Blackwood-Raccoon Whisperer for more raccoon cuties!
This woman is super brave. You couldn't pay me enough to put my hand up a chimney full of racoons
- I just hope you didn't miss any. They tend to have 4-6 babies, but I'm sure, or at least I can only *HOPE* that if there were one more, it would cry && the owner would call you guys back. ❤
I know raccoons can be dangerous, *in more ways than one* but they're SO CUTE!!! They all def have their own personalities and looks. That last one you pulled out the chimney had such a big nose!! They growl just like dogs. They're great escape artists!! When you asked "where ya goin buddy?" @7:38 he put his paw up like "don't you dare think you can tell me what to do!" 😂
You 2 do such an amazing job. I love the work you do. I love how you 2 treat each and every animal you help. Thank you for sharing ❤️
Hello Wendy
their paws are like human hands. they are soooo freaking cute!
That last bit proves it... raccoons can't count. But they are the most adorable creatures 😍
another G R E A T video, you people are AWESOME👏😎
Omg, they are just so cute yet rather rampant with it too. So adorable lol!
Raccoons are so cute and smart. I understand why people want to remove them from their houses and I'm so so so glad that they are relocated humanely, but some parts of me still feel pretty sad :((( the babies and even the mom look so little and vulnerable
God bless you for caring for mom and babies
Thank for what you do. Most important is how you do it! Thank you for showing other how to respect our co-habitators.
Cohabitants... I like that!! Well put my friend!! I’ve great respect for those who care for innocent little critters.
The very best to you my friend!!
🇺🇸Grandpa🇺🇸
Hypocrite notice: I’m not vegetarian nor vegan. I’m a meat and potatoes kinda man. Enjoy your day everyone!!
Putting my face in a cramped space where a potential racoon, mother racoon, or other animals is absolutely terrifying to me. Good on you two for doing this, so people like me don't have to. 🤣🤣🤣
Awsome compassionate teamwork...
Like wrangling little Tasmanian Devils. Well done.
God bless all working people and families like you guys
I love your girl she’s fearless .
They are a handful, poor mama!
They were so adorable and i saw they left you a going away present 😂
I was trying out new cat food. the barn cats wouldn't touch it and the raccoons threw it all over the barn.
There so cute when there babys

Those babies are so cute! Have you ever had an animal not come back for its babies?
Are you the man from Diggin So Cal? Awesome videos...🤗🤗🤗🐿🐿🐿
Gary from the Racoon Federation would like to thank you for your service.
The babies were like 🙃 🤬🚿 👀 🤗

Third one was quiet little cutie. Probably scared shitless though...
Job well done 👍 I
Well done.
Yay!❤
It was a good thing you had to re-upload this one.
You know why. ;-)
Why?
@@DerrickDX, done douchebag made a horrid comment.
Nice Job!
At 11:20 when he takes one last look at either you or the camera🥰
Good job 👍
We only saw her take 3. Did two of them get out of the box and she was looking for them at the end of the video? I mean, you have the camra and it would have shown it. Why edit that out if she did grab all five? I love this channel and your good works! Just something that caught my eye.
São lindos demais esses bandidinhos mascarados ♥
Awww some just don't want to be put down again 🥺🥺🥺
Cool
it hurts to see you looking up the chimney without wearing a safety glasses...
Oh he bit me 🤣🤣🤣. Hell no!
♥️♥️♥️
Funny that I get this channel suggested after I watch a video from the dude who sits on his porch and feeds hot dogs to about 20 raccoons every night. Glad he doesn’t live in my neighborhood.
Did she actually collect all 5 from the box? I only ask because that was not shown in the footage of her returning to get them.
Even in a dust mask you damn beautiful!
It's true that they're deastrous but I'd like to have a pet Bandits
I like Raccoons.
