LOL! When the ROSFEST ( Rites of Spring festival) began in 2004 in Phoenixville, Pa, MOON SAFARI was a huge fan favorite when they appeared there, and also a return visit when Rosfest moved to Gettysburg in 2010!

Best birthday present EVER
I'm excited as ever...Been a fan since Blomljud (Listened to it...hundreds of times, I think probably some of the greatest music ever made) and remember eagerly awaiting Lover's End and just falling more in love with the band! The last ten years have been rough for so many people, and so many bands going on hiatus or retiring etc, that this is making me feel like it's 2010~ all over again, when the scene still felt so young and exciting.
I always thought you deserved far more success than you ever got, tying together truly incredibly catchy well arranged music in a prog framing to really bring the songs to life, in a way other genres can't really do, even if so few people seem to appreciate it. And probably the only rock band around anywhere actually incorporating true jazz vocal harmony aka Peurling - thank you Simon for opening up that whole world of music for me! Accent and your other projects have been so fun to follow.
This track is a lot of fun, reminds me of classic Nightscape!! And Petter's verse is so classic as well. Having a heavy sound to throw in when the song and emotion demands for it is a great skill to have, while not dipping too far into that 90s dark alt rock metal sound so many bands get stuck into. Hearing some callbacks to earlier albums too, truly creating a whole Safariverse to explore and get lost in.
Here's to the ones who couldn't stay the past ten years... thank you Moon Safari. :)

Masterful songwriting. Somehow you perfectly blend 80s rock, metalcore style riffs and your classic uplifting Beach Boys infused prog. Sadly it didn't make me preorder, as I already had.
