Thanks so much for the recipe. I’m thinking a burger press between two pieces of burger paper will do the shaping trick. Will definitely be giving these a try.
Thanks for watching. Yeah definitely a burger press could work and probably a tortilla press too. I like doing it by hand and I was also practicing making pupusas at the time.
Wow! New sub here! Great recipe my fellow chef! I really enjoy how your dish turned out! I love corn and these look absolutely delicious and packed with flavor! I found your channel through the UA-cam Cooking Creators Community and I'm so glad I did! Hope to stay connected my friend! 😀
I believe I've had Choclo when eating at a Peruvian restaurant. Judging by that then the difference is that the arepa would be less sweet and less yellow.
Gracias chef por decir que son colombianas. Saludos desde Colombia 🇨🇴
Wow that looks do yummy 😋
Thanks!
Wow!!! I can’t wait to make this!! Thanks for the step by step and the countdown. I like the sounds of the cooking too. Excellent!!!
You are so welcome!
I going to make them, last week I got a tortilla press. They look yummy! Now i am Hungry !
I’ve never made them with a press. Let me know how it goes.

Great recipe! I wonder if you can prepare some more arepas in advance and store them in the fridge to make them in the following days. Cheers
@@diegobaldin6207 I’m sure you can do this. Just don’t heat them up in high heat as they might burn before warming up all the way through.

Thank you, I appreciate your kind words. But please don’t feel like you need to sub because I’m part of the community.
Cheers
Love the video! Reminds me of my grandma making these for me, but I don't remember if she added corn herself or purchased a corn based masa.
Thanks! Yeah you can make it with or with out corn. I like the "freshness" it brings when you add corn.
@@FoodTechLife I'll have to try it with fresh corn. Thanks for the video!
@@TeenyWeeny Let me know how it goes. Cheers!
How would the recipe be different if you made it with Choclo instead of regular sweet corn?
