I feel like the Japanese collector's edition was so much better. It also got miniature weapon models of the guns from the game and the actual "Village of Shadows" story book from the game. I hope they release it in the US because I would pay good money to get my hands on that story book.
I don’t really care much about video games but this collectors edition got my knees weak. It’s so beautiful. You can really see how much pride the creators have with the franchise, and never treat it like an over-hyped cash grab.
Fun fact: in the concept art part thingy on the menu, there is a concept of ada wong in the game as a masked person that saves ethan. She's on the village to investigate what's going on there. Unfortunately, it was cut because of "conflicting" reasons

I think the whole idea is for ethan to be a vessel for the player in a sense, hence why his head is gone in game. You can see images of his face online though, someone even "restored" face on his village model
