Thank you so much for having your channel. Today has been an incredibly draining day for me with family drama and my dog has been sick for a while, but even just seeing your thumbnail for this video perked me up. Like, your attitude towards makeup and seeing/feeling how invested and excited you are about it - it gets me excited about it and is just a quick little relief from everything that's been going on.
Also, per your recommendation of Marie Kondo's book, I decluttered my bedroom at home (I live with my parents) and it has seriously made such a difference. I felt emotionally and almost physically lighter, way more focused, and definitely more conscious about the things and honestly, the people, I choose to be in my life.

I love the coco butter spray version. I love that I can spray it on and not get my hands all slippery.
You are right about most of the Vaseline spray, but the cocoa butter one is more moisturizing. I use the green one because I have oily skin and its very light, even the lotion in a bottle.
As soon as you pulled out that Bonne Bell gloss in Cappuccino I felt nostalgic as well...I'm 27 and that was my FAVORITE gloss in middle school and high school...totally forgot about it! I think I'm going to have to buy it again!
That Bonne Belle Cappuccino was my very first lipgloss, and I can even remember the smell! I must have one again!!

I totally agree about the spray lotion! I've seen a few videos with people talking about how much easier/more convenient it is, and I just don't get it. It's cold and messy, and I find the spray button really hard to press. I won't be repurchasing.

I had the exact same bonne bell lip gloss! I absolutely loved it! it is one of my favorites also!
Lol... I totally still use the Bonne Belle Lip Lites in Cappuccino, and yes I used it way back in my school days too. I was one of the few that didn't like the brown lip color trend back in the 80's/90's, but was always rockin' the nude beige look and that lip gloss was perfect then as it is now. You are right, it isn't the best formula but it looks good and taste great. Since you mentioned you are new to getting Makeup Geek products, I thought I would tell you their foundation brushes are excellent. One other thing, I loved the Mica gel liner when I got it in one of my beauty boxes last year, but it does dry out, so enjoy it while it lasts. Thanks for another great video. I love how chill you are. Some of these other beauty vloggers are too prim and proper/overly glammed out. You are refreshing and seem more genuine.
Was wondering about that spray lotion. Thanks for the warning. Was thinking about the Soap and Glory stuff since Ulta carries it so may give that a try. I don't like trying new stuff because I don't like disappointment. Lol. I was disappointed by the Rimmel eyeliner I bought recently and I really needed a new good one. Love you Jessica! Never tried an NYC lipstick, so I'm excited to see your swatch video!! I love cheap lipsticks. I have a sample size of Marvelous Moxie lipstick in Be Free which was in the Sephora lippie set last year. Aaaamazing formula. It's creamy, comfortable, and it just stays. Haven't brought myself to buy the full size though. I was thinking of getting the sample trio instead, ha.

For softer lipsticks, try using them flat instead of at a slant. I broke my Bite lipstick and the lady at Sephora replaced it and had this tip for me! Very helpful.

You need to try the Jergens Wet Skin Moisterizer! You put it on when you're still wet after your shower and then dry off normally. It isn't oily or greasy at all, it smells AMAZING, and keeps the skin (mine anyway) super soft for like 24 hours. I recently got a sample of it in my Walmart beauty box and it has quickly become my new favorite "lotion."

im traveling right now visiting the college I went to and went to stay with a friend also. I brought the colourpop shadow in I heart this to travel with because its THAT GOOD. unreal! so stunning!!!!
My Marvelous Moxie in the same shade is too melted also. Even the Sephora perk sample was too soft. I do love it though.

i have that NYC lipstick and it is very creamy and smells good but my 449 creamy mauve is lighter compared to your swatch. which is a bummer because your swatch is so pretty
I have fallen in love with the NYX single shadow in Liquid gold. It's such a beautiful shimmery gold shade! Lately I've been buffing a red toned brown by NYX (I can't think of the name of it right now) in my crease, applying Liquid Gold all over my lid, and blending the two together. I think it's perfect for fall. :)

I have the Bonebell now hahaha I found it at my local dollar store not so long ago, I've only used it like once but it was the perfect nude-ish color.
Finally, someone else who thinks the Colour Pop e/s's aren't super user friendly. I bought one of the new collections because of all the raves on YT. Maybe some people are really amazing at using their fingers for eyeshadow, but for me, attempting to place eyeshadow in my crease or outer corner with my fingers is an epic fail-it doesn't matter how much I attempt to blend it out.
For the ColouPop mattes I use a fluffy synthetic brush and for any of the other finishes I use a sponge tip applicator. I have major trouble using my fingers too - small eyelids and man-hands maybe?
+Marcee Rodgers A synthetic fluffy brush works great for the crease - I actually like a denser one. Elf makes a great one for about $3 and it's called their "contour" brush. It's perfect for the crease. CVS/Target have it. For lids, I use a small synthetic EcoTools shadow brush. They aren't the most user-friendly eyeshadows, agreed, but I feel like they are worth a bit of extra work. Their pigmentation is typically fantastic in most shadows, and they stay put ALLLLLLLLL day for me. And with hooded lids, I love that when I use a shimmery or metallic shadow on my lid, it doesn't transfer to my crease and brow bone... stays where I put it.
+Marcee Rodgers For the crease, try using a sponge-tip applicator to place the shadow and then a fluffy synthetic brush to blend it out. For the lid, just use your finger or a sponge-tip. I hope this helps you. :)

I love the Bonne Bell Cappuccino too! Its a great nude gloss. I used to also love their pink gloss but they changed the color slightly in the new version. It used to be a taupe-y pink. I am still looking for a dupe for it. :)

Milani baked blush in Luminosa & Hard Candy ombre baked blush in Punch. Been using them interchangeably! Also, definitely want to try the Bare Minerals lipsticks because of your reviews!

I had a big lip smackers collection going for a while when I was younger! Not that the lip balms are really makeup but my first "beauty favorite" was my vanilla lip balm and I swear I treasured that thing at age 5 or 6 haha :) Thankfully my taste has matured a bit since then, but makes me want to go out and get a new one!
They do do a Sugar Crush spray! They do here in the UK anyway so try to check that out :) imo it doesn't smell as nice as the scrub though but I don't like the sugar crush smell as much as smoothie star so you might feel differently than I do about it
Love how honest you are when you try and explain each product! How do you wear the NYC lipstick and not have it smudge at the sides where your lips meet?! After seeing it highly reviewed I bought the kind everyone was raving about, but am having this problem! Tips would be great!
mmm, yum- Soap and Glory Sugar Crush...i don't think there is any better smelling products out there, the handcream and the scrub in the same series are also really good.

Your hair is looking gorgeous with your natural curls. As a naturally curly girl myself, I appreciate when people go natural. It can be more work (the struggle with frizzy hair is real), but it looks amazing. I love your straight hair, as well, I'm just really loving this change. :)

I always look forward to your faves!!! I have really been enjoying the pearlized formula shadows from ColourPop. They are metallic without glitter. If you pick up anything else from Makeup Geek, I highly recommend the blush in Spellbound & the eye shadow in Barcelona Beach (great transition & even for contour). ;)
The soap and glory one is my favourite body butter too! As well as the body wash and body scrub! You should try the body wash it's very exfoliating but hydrating, ps love you❤️
have you ever tried the wet and wild eye shadow palettes there's like 8 eye shadows in one and it's AMAZING! I'm pretty sure there's a dupe for boom boom room or blue brown from Mac in one of them. You should definitely do more tutorials I love your make up looks !
Also, have you by any chance tried the moisturizers you put on in the shower while your skin is still wet? I've been curious as to whether or not they actually work.

My favorite blush is romance by makeup geek. Spell bound is pretty if you like cool tone pinks.
I like rosy or peachy blushes on me. My skin tone is cool/neutral, I wear foundation revlon color stay in color buff in summer a little light on me, but winter matches me perfect.
Arrgggh - Creamy Mauve is haunting my dreams! I have been creeping my local drugstore for it, and it's the only shade that's sold out! I did get another of the new matte shades, but I know I'd wear the mauve more...the drugstore staff are going to be sick of me.
Also, as soon as you showed the Bonne Bell lipgloss, that smell popped right into my head. It's totally a 13 year old girl's idea of what a cappuccino smells like! Ah, memories. :)
