What’s the COP of this unit at certain outdoor time degree I wish I was on there for this webinar. I’m with Reliable heating and cooling Renton WA. After install some of these I got a lot of question about this unit that am in needing help that my local supplier johnstone supply Bellevue just won’t help 😞
Hey, I am a homeowner troubleshooting my HMH7 unit which has been really disappointing. I can't get any help from my HVAC installer who did the unit. Right now in near peak summer temps, the ac is cycling 2-3 times per hour but only in cooling cycle for around 10-12 minutes per cycle. I was expecting this to modulate for really long run times...does that sound correct?
Is there way disable HMH7 driving W1 (AUX heat) in the beginning of heat cycle (thermostat asking for heat)? That's causing my gas furnace to do unnecessary 100 seconds burn cycle...
I have a ?...on the wiring of the low voltage of this unit it shows a y2 coming from the indoor unit to the board on the install kit..i installed one of these today and there is not a y2 wire coming from the the indoor unit only the y1 comes from the indoor unit..where dose the y2 wire coming from the board hook to on the indoor unit
I wish it had a dip switch to turn that off and only energize it on defrost like every other heat pump. The whole point of a heat pump is to save on running the heat strips as much as possible.
Wow that is an awesome warranty promotion!
I am getting one hope it is good in Florida
Where in fl I have personally installed 5 and they all are working phenomial
@@coreymadden3650 Venice and I have it now and it is great.
How about the noise level? Are you satisfied?
@Liu He it's Dead silent.
We have installed some 3 tons and 5 tons "0" issues. Very quiet.

How many stages is the outdoor unit compressor 5?
No 2.5 tons ...? I have an old vertical discharge 2.5 that am planning to replace with the hmh7 side discharge ...coupled to a natural gas furnace.

I do believe this goes to a speed tap 5 on the ECM...it's been awhile but I do remember a y2 out running to a speed tap
According to the York account rep in GA, I was the first customer to install a HMH7.
How is it? Any suggestions?
@Liu He Yes, it is very efficient. I have a 4-ton paired with York variable speed 5 ton air handler.
I dislike that it sends a w call everytime it comes on in heat. This can't be good to run 40 amps everytime it comes on
