I have been using this for the past 6 yrs. The idea is good. But ythe stainless-steel used is of very low quality. Now the container has started to leak. It will be good if they use brass instead of stainless steel
If the cooker has lasted for six years that actually is indicative of good quality of the material. The demand is not large enough to justify investment in dies and production line with brass. Another constraint is the price that the users are willing to pay. Brass will be far more expensive.

How do we make or get the waxed paper you have used?
How to start using sticks to light the coal.?
These are newspaper strips dipped in molten wax. You can scrape some used candles into a small pot and melt it on a stove. Make about finger length strips of newspapers. you can stable 3-4 strips to give it some strength. Drop the strips in the molten wax and stir around a bit to make sure that each strip is properly coated with wax. Then remove and strain the strips and let them cool off.

What other dishes can be done with above other than dal rice ??
Thank you for your query. Anything that is cooked by boiling or steaming can be cooked in Samuchit Steam Cooker. That includes idli, dhokla type items, various rice based recipes like pulav, biryani, etc., all types of curries, and so on. This device cannot be used for making chapati/roti or for frying.
