- FOR SALE! This is a 3 owner car. The first owner owned it for 58 years until 2018. The car had/has 19,550 ish miles on it when we bought it. Other than general maintenance (tires, etc) and the electric wiper motor, the car is completely original! It still has a number of the inspection marks from the assembly line. We are the next caretaker and plan on keeping it original :-) It is a time capsule for sure.
Great job. Enjoyed this. Thanks 😊
This is exactly what i want when i retire in 10 years....no computers or sensors, no check engine lights, no gas cap lights....i know what everything on it is, what it does, and how to fix it! I dont need a showcar, just an old mans good enough daily driver....if the price is right
No better time than the present! It is for sale now!
Really good job on this video. I have 1961 and a 2020 Explorer ST! Best wishes
Same colors on my 64 comet. Sweet ride.
Excellent presentation.
Beautiful presentation ! The Ford Falcon was a great car - mechanical simplicity at it's best - affordable and well built. A great value for the money.
Very beautiful perfect looking car beautiful colour thanks friend have a very nice day
Gosh it's swell!!!
Good job on the vintage advertisement, greetings from verdigris. Sweet car.
My grandpa had a 1964 falcon with the 200 6 cylinder,it had over 144k miles and still ran good.
Congratulations!!! Beautifull Falcon! Built FORD, built strong!!
Memories...good ones. My first car. 6cyl.
3speed on the column. I drove my Falcon all over the place.
Dad drove ours from Mayland to So. California 1967 3 little boys in the back, Dad driving, Mom next to him andy my baby sister on Mom's lap.
My sister had one and drove it trouble free for almost 10 years!
It is beautiful and that's a fantastic presentation.
My folks bought a brand new gray 1960 Falcon just like this. Their first new vehicle purchase, and their only other was a bare bones 6-cyl 1976 Ford pickup.
My dad had always been a v8 man. Well, in 1961, he bought a Falcon. He said, “that is the most anemic car he had ever driven in his life.” It didn’t like it and it didn’t last long in his driveway. I forgot whatever he had in the next years for cars. But, I know this, he had a bunch of v8 fords. He had a 1972-3 Ford Torino, with a 351, that car would get up and go. It was a plain brown wrapper, but, a great car.
I miss my black 60 Falcon. Had wide white wall tires. The whittle 144 inline 6 was gutless but that's my only complaint. Nice job! Your video probably took many hours to create!
This one is for sale!
Outstanding!
I have a white, 1963 4 door Falcon . It has been restored and looks good like yours. However, it has 200k on it and it shows in some ways.
Build Ford, build good.
Falcon 👍👍👍🇲🇽
Well done!
Nice job... Love the dice..
Very easy to maintain also.
my 61 falcon 4 door is orange with a white top. I call it a dreamsicle.
LIKES HAVING A FLASH BACK OF MY FIRST FALCON CAR GIVEN TO ME BY MY FATHER IN LAW WHEN I MARRIED HIS DAUGHTER.2 FALCON WAS A 1961 THAT I BOUGHT FOR $50.00 DOLLARS BACK IN 1976 USES IT FOR 5 YEARS SOLD ITS FOR $100.00.I LOVES FALCON DAMS GOODS CARS.
Wow that’s cool very nice indeed
hi all i had a 1960 xl falcon 2 speed auto going up a hill the windscreen washers arms used to stop going down hill they used to go flat out the falcons top speed was 60 mph regards to all.
Beautiful car sir..makes mine look like garbage lol
Dang did u buy it like that? That looks so clean
Oh yeah
The standard Falcon had black rubber floors and gray upholstery so this car must have the Deluxe trim.
I was hoping someone would know more...how would I confirm the trim package?
@@BRDVPRA The data plate on the door jamb.
I've wondered what it would be like to put the engine and 5 speed trans from a 1987 nissan hardbody pickup into on of these. Clean, overdrive , 130 HP.
great how you used the old advertisement sound track...wise not to film the Falcon trying to get up a hill
Ha! It will make....gear down just gear down!
They'd do just fine
Mine never had trouble on hills -- but like this I had the manual trans.
Mine had the manual 3 speed. I could drop it into second gear and climb a tree if I wanted.
How much?
30 mpg ??? Is that true still ?
Well I have not checked it but could easily do so!
Mine actually got 30 mpg.
Is there a heater in this car?
Yes there is a heater in the car
@@BRDVPRA Thanks. Mine didn't have one!
What was the sticker price on these in 1960?
Under $2000.00
In 1966, I got my '60 for $150 -- but it had 144,000 miles on it. Still drove me all over half this country -- and at 30 mpg.
it was a gutless wonder.
with the standard trans they were not too bad
You must have never drove one
The 144cid I6 was ridiculously under powered, but it lasted only one year. For 1961 the I6 was bumped up to 170cid. The 170 engine cars were still slow but not dangerously slow. For 1963 Ford offered the 260cid V8 which actually made the car a pleasure to drive. The best Falcons were the 1964 and 1965 models. Under the skin the 64/65 Falcons were identical to the 65/66 Mustangs.
@@MrSloika Actually the 144 lasted until 1964 and it was the standard engine in a 1964 Falcon.
@@Bigdog302V8 I've never seen a 144 in the 1964 model Falcon. Must be a rare bird.
All this and you don't have to wear a seat belt. I'm in.
There is not seat belt yet, but I just need to install them!
LOL. I bought a used 1961 Station Wagon. It was a total POS.
You should have waited for a nicer one
Safety? No seatbelts 🤣
How much???
