I have to write a 2k word essay on this learning cycle and ur video is more useful than all the lessons my teachers gave me this whole academic year. thanks!
David A. Kolb's learning cycle is a four-stage model of experiential learning that describes the process through which individuals progress as they acquire new knowledge and skills. The four stages of the learning cycle are: concrete experience, reflective observation, abstract conceptualization, and active experimentation. This model suggests that individuals must first have a concrete experience, or a hands-on encounter with the subject at hand, in order to learn effectively. Next, they must reflect on that experience and think about what they learned from it. This is followed by the abstract conceptualization stage, where individuals consider the broader theoretical concepts that apply to their experience. Finally, they must put what they have learned into practice through active experimentation.
"Okay, I used Gibbs during my placement with my Social Degree. I found it very easy to follow, simple, clear to use, and it greatly helped with my work. Thank you."
i couldnt watch the rest of the video as soon as i saw him think it was klob and not kolb. i care about this because it makes it seem like he hasn't even put any time into thinking about this properly.
I'm sure the Jennie-lee they were referring to is a Welsh lady called Jennie Lee, she married a English politician called anyer bevan, later known as Lord Bevan. between them they created the NHS, Open University, English welfare system and the arts Council. they were that enamoured with her, they made this song for her. x
May I suggest it would be less distracting and help your credibility if you pronounced Kolb correctly (rather than Klob!). Otherwise, very informative, thanks

Hey I'm doing the same thing! I'm guessing you're doing a foundation year. I am going to cite and reference this source. Thanks everybody :)
@@Must_Do_Better I wouldn’t cite this as a source in an assignment. Only cite credible journals, books articles etc

How about teaching Kolb’s theory by applying it and not in the old way that is opposite to Kolb’s theory with the old power point presentation .
Man says klob
Pronunciation is like peel and the concept is like fruit. Concept is so clear and crisp.
