It appears that the houses in Water Valley persevered through Beryl, and kept their roof, and many of the trees are still standing and holding on to their fruits. Besides what Gilbert taught the people, It's a teaching moment that if you build your house below ground level, such as in a valley, you will get the protection from the strong winds of a hurricane rushing over the valley.🇯🇲
