I don't understand how modern day singers are so famous and always praised for their music when Jason Mraz exists. He has the most talent I have ever heard in my entire life and so many people don't even know who he is! If videos were rated for best performance/talent, this one should be the winner. Jason has been my inspiration for the past 13 years and continues to astonish me every time I hear him sing. Thank you for being an amazing person/inspiration Jason!!!

because he made music to inspires people, not for commercial only. Some singer only release song that repeat the same lyric over and over again (you know what i mean), yet it became hit songs.

I thought of the same thing....some singers just really want money and fame but i gotta say that there are some singers who have it all but the music they make is just full of curse words or bad phrases as if those words are okay to say. And i know that music is where you express yourself and i see A LOT of singers doing THAT but jason mraz is like expressing himself on our behalf. In other words i see his music are selfless. And plus it really has an impact to your soul. In short it’s unique, a gift from God which he uses well for others and not for himself(partly) :D

He is supposidly classicly trained in opera... He killed it!
What is amazing is not how high his head voice is (he only goes up to a D in that song) but how incredibly beautiful it is. He does sound fairly like a mezzo soprano, but more importantly he sounds as good as a very good mezzo soprano. And yes that requires classical training.

I cry watching this. Every time. Something about this particular performance is so deeply moving, hits me in the same way that the video of him performing 'Plane' at the Highline Ballroom touched me years ago. I have Bipolar Disorder and Jason saved my life when I was 16 with the song Details In The Fabric, which I listened to on repeat one night and it talked me down from a severely manic state where I very much planned and wanted to harm myself. "Everything will be fine".... His words and the way he presents them are truly life-changing, and effect me in a way only one other band manages to, but no other solo artists have ever lived up to in my mind.
Thank you Jason, for everything. I hope one day to finally see you live and thank you in person, but for now live videos like this'll do just nicely :)

I am not really a big fan of Jason Mraz and not familiar with his songs even years ago. Apparently, this year 2018, my work colleagues will be playing one of his song "i won't give up" and I will be playing the guitar so i need to watch his performances and covers from youtube to study and learn how to play it. After a week of watching and listening to his music, I got speechless. This guy is a true artist (NOT an average artist). He is a diamond to the music industry. A high respect to him that can already be adressed as "Sir" Jason Mraz. I am a big fan now.
This, is actually fucking incredible. honestly, i am not inspired by much these days. everything i am seeing, most of the things that there is to see with music that is halve decent these days that is accessible, i am so bored of it all. but this… i don't know… this is even a lot more different from when i saw him years ago. and with how everyone is getting more and more mainstream and bringing out crappier and crappier albums, this is so fucking awesome and beautiful to see.

You sing from a higher source, perform to inspire, and live your life in a way that truly moves not only me but my wife and others. When I am sad or anxious your music is on. When I am happy and joyful, your music is on. I sometimes venture to other artist and music but I seem to always compact them to yours and they never really hit that spot deep down in me. My spirit is constantly being uplift by you and your music. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I hope you continue to do what you do.

My fav Jason mraz song of all time... because i FEEL the heartache, anger, pain, and passion that he has in his heart. (not that he dosnt have passion in all his other songs) but this one is very special to me because i feel all the emotions of this song in my soul.
When I close my eyes and see flashbacks of what ive gone through, I know my curiosity needed to see deeper and I fought my way out.
These abusive people i loved, took advantage of my kindness. They ruined my life, because they knew was looking for love and they saw it as a weakness.
Even though i can't afford to go to his concert this time around i will improve my financial situation and know eventually get front row seats to his future tour.
I will get there and show my kids that with perseverance they can get what they want and my horrible abusers will regret what they did to us, dispite their lack of remorse today.
