This is currently my favorite RF song...the lyrics are just perfect, leave it to Rascal Flatts to create music that touches everyone, no matter what they may be going through.
This song, I don't care who you are, is intense. I just like how the verses feed into the choruses like they do. The bridge definetly makes you want more from the song.
hmm no comments I will be first I guess. I love this song it really speaks from my heart to my new fiancee. I have finally found love and I am never going back !!
@SilverShadowDarkness so I met my love on facebook in Dec 2009 . She lives in Bulgaria and I live in the USA . After a year of chatting every day I flew to Bulgaria to spend our anniversary with her and Christmas. I just got back 2 days ago and it was amazing and wonderful and so awesome. Now we know the love we have is completely real and we will work on making it so we will be together for the rest of our lives . We are both in our 40s ....
Did M. West record it? I haven't heard him sing it (yet). It is amazing how many songs out there have his name on them! Good for him for being a great writer and infusing Christianity into songs that secular artists can sing. Not to mention that little side benefit called royalties he gets out of them.
@stuckworthy Actually, I'm pretty sure he wrote this for his wife, like how he wrote "You Know Where To Find Me" for one of his friends. I can say, I MUCH prefer the Matthew West version and find it sad that the only version people know is this one. However, I can't find it on UA-cam. Geez.
This song is actually a Matthew West song. I'm not a big fan of the cover. I'm also not a big fan of rascal flats though. That might have something to do with it. Also, this song is intended to be a Relationship song between man and God not man and woman. It is easy to make that connection with Christian music though.
This is my husband and I's song and it was our first dance at our wedding. :-)
I love you Lisa. I know you picked this as our song and what a perfect song it is for us.
