Teary eyed I am writing this, what composure shown by the great Dr Israr Ahmad, may Allah elevate his status in the heavens. I salute the big man, big in terms of calm, knowledge, tranquility, peace, eloquence, restraint, and what not. I love Dr Israr Sahab and look forward to meeting him one day In Shaa Allah.
After listening to this dialogue/ interview my respect for Dr. Israr has increased. His patience is winning stroke together with his knowledge. I was most impressed with his humbleness in accepting his limited knowledge about certain questions like reading of old testaments etc. But he also very humbly acknowledged certain fallacies rampant in our belief. I remember him saying this in the context of social justice i.e rather than creating concentration camps or POW camps which would (a) Not ensure delivery of basic needs of them (b) Would be a big burden on ghettos treasury, its better to hold individuals responsible for their wellbeing and then at the same time, repentance is linked with them in a way that a lot of ahadith are their where if a person has committed a sin, they are commanded to free an x number slaves etc.

This is a topic which is sensitive and troubles Muslims a lot nowadays.
Allow me to address this one.
Firstly, Islam only permitted slavery through captives/prisoners of war and made the other ways of slavery practice haram/prohibited in the first place.
It was stated by more than majority of the scholars that it is better for a female servant to have intercourse with her master not just because of her innate sexual desires but also because the Muslim man/master is obliged to provide for her proper food, care, shelter, clothes, etc just like he does for his wife and that's a form of maintenance and more importantly if she does have intercourse with her Muslim chief, her progeny/generations will continue so it is better if she does so but the main thing is that scholars also stated that because of no evidence whatsoever for a female servant being obliged to have intercourse with her master, she's not allowed to be forced into sexual intercourse by the Muslim man and this is what Imam Shafi's opinion stated(research about this opinion) and as far as I have read, scholars didn't object against his opinion.
Also there is a hadith where the Prophet(PBUH) forced one of the seven brothers who had a female servant to release the respective female servant because her Muslim master/one of the brother had slapped her and the penalty of any kind of harm upon the servant is the servant's emancipation and this is obligatory upon the Muslim Master.

Now your question regarding are Non-Muslim men allowed to have sexual intercourse, it depends mainly on their religion and partly culture.
Most of the Disbelieving Men used to practice slavery contrary to Islam. A female slave could be forced to intercourse if she resisted in various religious cultures and multiple men used to have sexual intercourse with a single female slave and also the Disbelieving Men/Masters forced their female slaves to work out of their capacity and didn't provide them proper treatment the way Islam obligated upon Muslims.

@@afia9641if u read clearly slavery was prohibited by Prophet Muhammad SallaALLAHu Alaihi wa Alihi wasallam in Islam. But He SallaALLAHu Alaihi Wassalam adopted a strategic way of eliminating this from society. He SallaALLAHu Alaihi Wassalam did not said all slaves are now free. As the slaves had no home no job that would have caused them problems to survive moreover a burden on economy just like u can read when Amera prohibited slavery altogether what kind of economic setback they had to face. That could increase chances of crime as well.
So it was ordered to free a slave if u did this , if u did that wrong eg if you skipped fast or had a mistake in Hajj etc. This way slavery was eliminated step wise. Moreover there were slave women under Prophet Muhammad SallaALLAHu Alaihi wassalam they had desires naturally that could lead them to zina etc. So it was allowed to have sexual relationship with them. Also we can read that some of them were asked to leave but they chose to stay with Prophet Muhammad SallaALLAHu Alaihi wassalam.

I am med student too...He accepted genetic variability within species that lead towards different phenotypes,changes in skin colour,eye colour etc but rejected the concept of evolution which is based on same sources of genetic variability . Isn't it a bit confusing?

The anchor was clearly insulting Dr. Israr. He has no knowledge of his own grounds. His sole intention was to create sensation but ultimately failed to do so. He needs to not only just read but understand and comprehend Quran Majid basically.

There is no comparison between a social anchor and an Islamic scholar like Dr. Israr Ahmed, who has dedicated his life to understanding Islam. The anchor raising questions is not even familiar with Arabic pronunciation. Without engaging in the process of Islamic studies, one cannot obtain answers. To acquire insights, it is necessary to disconnect from ordinary life and immerse oneself in the study of Islam.

I listened to one of Israr Ahmed's lecture about having sex with slave non muslim women captured in war by muslim men. He JUSTIFIED it saying slave women captured in war will also have sexual desires so that is why sex is allowed with them so their sexual desires can be fulfilled. My question to dr Isran would be, muslim women captured in war by non mulims will ALSO have sexual desired, would that be ok for non muslim men to have sex with muslim women they capture in war ??

@afia9641 If that's a question then there is a quite logical answer he gave in a separate lecture. You may search his lectures on Concubines in Islam.
Islam was new and therefore there were a lot of things that needed correction as one needs to understand the time between Isa (A.S) and Hazrat Muhammad (S.A.W.W) plus the fact how Arabs then treated slaves.
Allowing sex with Slaves was on the process towards diversity and inclusiveness as back then slaves were treated with brutality and denied basic human rights not limited to intercourse. Once this objective was achieved and the slavery system doesn't exist so no more allowed.
@afia9641 you read only one part of it. There were alot other rights given to slaves like Hazrat Bilal (R.A) was also a slave right? He was purchased and then given the most respectful duty.
About war, if a non Muslim captures a Muslim women then what he will do would be rape because I don't think a true Muslim would willingly want to have intercourse with him. If this is done forcefully then there won't be any burden on the woman as she would not be in a position to confront but willingly I don't think it will ever be allowed now.
This is similar to the fact that Alcohol wasn't prohibited from Day 1, it was a gradual process. First, believers were asked to stay away from prayer when they are drunk and then ultimately it was classified as Haram. Similarly, since Concubines don't exist now and the State is responsible to ensure they don't exist, I don't think this is allowed anymore. Remember, there is always a process to change.

A woman is a woman, regardless of her religion, she is a human being . We cant say its ok for muslim men to have sex with non muslim women captured in war but its not ok if non-muslim men have sex with our muslim women captured in war by them
