Types of Silicates Part 1: Orthosilicates, Disilicates, and Cyclosilicates
Вставка
- Опубліковано 3 лис 2024
- With seven classes of minerals down there is just one to go, and it is the most important class. Silicates! There are so many silicates we will need two tutorials to get through them all. Here we will discuss orthosilicates, disilicates, and cyclosilicates.

I love watching your videos even though I understand nothing!!
i have nothing but respect for people who study chemistry, it has to be the most difficult stem field other than maybe modern physics
Happy New Year - thanks for keeping up all of your educational series on youtube. I know these videos don't really kill the youtube algorithm but man have I learned a lot about the world around me from your channel and I appreciate that.
What's fascinating as mentioned at the end of the tutorial that trace amounts of chromium or iron give the entire complex tetrahedral structure its own distinct color. The structure that is composed of much more elements yet they don't contribute to the color of this compound.
dave you're one of my fav youtubers
2.31million subscribers yet only a couple hundred likes? I see the trend here.
What “trend” is that, sweetie?
I think Dave knows everything
Far from it but he does know a very large amount of stuff though
Definitely doesn't know everything. He claims to know things, he actually doesn't understand at all. Dr James Tour showed that, but Dave tries so hard to stay in his echo chamber where his ideas don't have to be challenged and he can just attack people instead of presenting any real evidence.
😂
He does. Just ask him. He'll tell you.
It’s amazing how indoctrinated he is
Thanks for making it so easy to understand 🙂
Hey Dave, just wanna say I like your voice and your vids! Cheers!
Thanks for these videos
great explanaition !!!!
That's not the silly cats I was looking for ...
Ok, I'll get out ...
Finally! A video on silicates! Woohoo
First comment in the 2023. Something worth remembering especially with such intresting topic.
Wrong
@@REDACTED-05 i am positive with my statement. I even checked in and out the comment section before any other comment was added so don't be a hater with the beginning of this year :)
@@waelfadlallah8939 nvm then I take it back happy new year
@@REDACTED-05 thank you for the acknowledgment and i wish you a year full of prosperity :)
🏆🍾💰👏👏👏
I can already tell that orthosilicates are going to be my nemesis while studying this degree 😡
Jesus was reborn again and he has a you tube channel now💀
thank you
Where do i start if i am interested in science, but have never engaged in learning it? I have zero knowledge, but i am interested in knowing how the universe works. If i only knew, what these things meant, so i could unravel its syntax and get the right perspective about how the universe operates
Start with my general chemistry playlist!
@@ProfessorDaveExplains wow! I am surprised you actually responded to me. Thank you and i will start there! Very exciting!
@@ensar4115 i would actually recommend starting with newtonian physics or basic algebra, since it's assumed knowledge for a lot of chemistry and higher level physics
I have all that too
@@keegan6388 OK! I will! But what do you mean by "assumed knowledge"? (I apologize because i am autistic and i always need a more specific explanation to understand things.
Wasn't dave at 3 million followers a couple weeks ago?
Nope.
This has nothing to do with my degree why am I watching this
did you get your degree yet
First one!!! 😭
Your officially the first comment of the year
👏👍
Dave thinks he knows everything
No, I don’t. That’s just a dumb thing whiny creationists say to me when I debunk their loser heroes. Learn something while you’re here, champ.
Sili cat???? 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤠🤯🤯🤯
SILI CAT 😛
This guy is good but is too fast in his teaching
As a casual learner, i like how much material he covers at once
👅👅👅 blehhh
You should look at the boron hydrides, they are fascinating and it has three center bonding
Hello Jessica how are you doing,
where are you from?
@@Lucaangelo252 Texas right now.
@@jessicatymczak5852 Hey happy New year to you. Wow that is nice I myself is Originally from France but I Currently base in Detroit Michigan, So how is the weather over there in Texas ?
@@Lucaangelo252 Warm, seems wrong somehow. I miss the snow ❄️
@@jessicatymczak5852 oh that good to know, not only there over here is cold too So what are you doing at the moment.. nice to meet you Jessica👋if i may ask are you married with kids if you don't mind me asking?
