Great video, currently a 3.5 working on my dinks and back hand. Gotta start throwing in the top spin as well. Never played racket sports, but always been an athlete.

I'm assuming the additional practice elements here are when you're looking for targeting the body with speed ups, with the assumptions that a) the speed up is less focused on staying in than the previous iterations and b) picking between higher hip and shoulders for targets.
Yes, it depends what spots you’re actually going for. But I aim to keep the ball in pretty much every time

Should your attack velocity be within the limits where the ball would stay in the court should your opponent move out of the way?
YES! Great question
Yep !
A fast attack velocity with low trajectory is best even though most of these shots will go out of the court. It’s very difficult for the opponent to let that ball go because there’s only microseconds to make a decision. Another option is a deceptive shot that’s with lower velocity and much higher trajectory to keep the ball in the court but results in forcing the opponent to move out of the way thinking that the ball will go out of bounds.

Great video. As a right hand player with a strong backhand, I have definitely noticed that times, especially when I play with strong players, where I could have done better with having two handed backhand.
