First impression: wow, never heard that kind of music before, this atmosphere just takes you to a whole new world and the production is near perfection (the only reason why is that there is no perfection in music production ;) ). This is something I really really really really really [...] really really really like! Just continue to make amazing music guys, there's something magical going on here!
Without mentionning, your choruses are just EPIC... this only fact somehow reminds me of Mercenary's the hours that remains... epic melodic choruses everywhere...
Some of the writing is on the derivative side with several riffs coming dangerously close to songs from bands like Nevermore and Outworld, but there's huge potential here, and the vocals are superb. It overall reminds me a lot of Pathosray's later work. Looking forward to the next album.
I just realized I am listening to new Nevermore XD Stilistically vocals and guitars are done in such a similarity that made my doubts of hearing something like Nevermore again dissapear. Hoooraay!
I agree does KINDA remind me of nevermore, but I have to say Dane's vocals are much better. not really crazy bout this vocalist. music is cool but the guitars get boring after a bit. not even close to anything loomis plays. Nevermore puts this band to shame. actually listening to this now and the more I listen to it the more I dislike it. lol this shit sucks.
This is great music. Reminds me a little about my own compositions; the quick alternating notes are of similar style to the bar chords being flung around my guitar each beat when I play.

I know how rare it is to find a guy who sings with this kind of technique, drive, power and range and who happens to be in a band that composes stuff I really dig into. I am VERY picky with the music I hear, and very often find myself trapped in the loop Symphony X - Adagio. Rare pieces of art like this really add another flavor to my menu! Keep on, guys!

I absolutely love the Instrumentals! As of the first five tracks I haven't really gotten into the vocals. :/ Great band though! And love the album intro!
I feel like the vocals weren't recorded very well. The sound quality doesn't sound like it's as good as the instruments and therefore the instruments kind of drown the vocals out a bit. Other than that, no other real complaints. It's a little heavier than I'd like, but that's more of a personal opinion. This is very well done!

ScienticMusic Dreginy Let's Plays As you say heavy level is totally personal taste. For me this is moderate heavy, good clarity of lyrics and good pace to the drumming etc. keeping the nodding going. I don't go in for big negative critiques of albums, if I don't like one, it's easy to just move on, but considering this is the bands first attempt and one they will be wanting to learn from I will give my only dislike. I find there are a number of occasions where the nice heavy drumming is at odds with the lighter foreground guitars, the bass switches between the two as well. It adds variety so if that was the aim it was achieved, I tend to like the music heavy and heavier so the lighted parts detracted a little there for me. I will agree a bit on the vocals being a bit background but in fairness I found the music was the real strength so this was good for me, the vocals are good but the music is better, so I would keep it as it is allowing all to shine. I listened to all but track 1 straight through, I know a lot of bands do a slow first or last track so simply skipped it and was glad I did. Good stuff all round a lot more polished than a number of more experienced groups so congratulations and keep it up.
