This was the absolute pinnacle of all their albums so far. I'm sure if I heard any of their other ones first, I would have been a slower convert. I thank the god & goddess daily that I am alive in this day & age to be able to hear such phenomenal musicians.
One of my favorite symphonic metal bands and Sharons voice is unbelievable!❤ Awesome! I've bought my Mayones guitar, because the Within Temptation guitsrist has one and this sound and looks extremly good for my aars and eyes. Best guitar i ever bought of course!🤘
The serenity, the tranquility, the mystery, the artistry, the cold dark sound and the musicality... just like a dream boxed down into one band. Except that they're real... can't help to feel like sleeping on water...
Saw her live. It's that good. No lip sinking here. They play sound tracks as part of the background (when they don't have a full chorus and orchestra - which sometimes they do - then there's no sound track). But you can tell when she's singing live. Which is every song.
Within Temptation really is great...but listen to Epica and I promise you will cry even more xD I guess it's personal preferences and such, and I love both, but I was so much more moved by Epica as far as just how powerful the vocals are

No, she doesn't really. She has a nice timbre which works well in the recording studio where they can enhance her abilities and correct mistakes, but onstage her shortcomings are painfully clear.

What kind of trash do you listen to. I've followed this band for years and they haven't made a bad record yet. I suggest you stop listening to your brand of rubbish and try listening to the real sound of music.

To be able to sing like that live is pure talent and it's a shame that they're not as big as they should be. I can only presume that you are tone-deaf from listening to Lady GaGa too loud, for too long.
