The level of random NPC noise pollution in Skyrim is just too much sometimes.

While I love Laura as Serana, this one truly strikes a chord with me. Their dynamic with the Dragonborn is so entertaining. I just wish this mod was on the PS4 version.

Man this just goes to show- you can never can tell what you'll mess up with even the most innocuous mod-based choices. I re-homed Ysolda some time ago and then tried to take Serana on this date and she spent the whole night in the Mare wandering around, not speaking to me or interacting and I was like "This is a weird date." So I'm guessing the date script relies on Ysolda being in the Bannered Mare so that they can talk. Hopefully I can reset her home and it will work.

@@TheRogue_Paladin Right? Every time I do something goofy I always wonder where down the line it's gonna cause an issue. Thankfully, I restored Ysolda to her default home schedule and the quest worked fine.

How do I fix Ysolda not interacting with Serana when she’s in the Bannered Mare?
This made me drop my books and start another Playtrough, shame though, I thought the Voice Actress was actualy a good friend of mine, ah well...
I cured Serana of vampirism and she called me a dimwit when I asked why a vampire is drinking alcohol
Look I'll mention this to Marty , he's working on the cured dialogue
The voice actor of this mod is so much better than vanilla wispy and innocent voice doesnt suit her personality one bit.
I think the original was great for what it was. Just think about her conversation with Valerica you could feel the emotions in her speech. Laura Bailey’s work is often slept on in this game sadly

It depended on what work you did back then. If you where a knight you had more freedom to chose your partner. But a lowly farmer would mostly not have saying in the matter.
This isnt medieval times, its a different universe
@@unlimitedpower1385 A universe that contains Dimensional Time-traveling, Airships, a cyborg from the future, Superhumans, talking mudcrabs, Elder scrolls is on a whole another level rather than simply being "medieval times" that most people with common thinking would believe at first.

Lmao i just read through the entire comment section and i feel bad for you my dude. Some people are just oblivious. But anyway I just came to drop a comment for people struggling with this quest. I recently played through it and Serena ends up freezing her Dialogue. If anyone is struggling with this just go out the tavern and then back in. Everything just returns to normal
Oh and it can happen repeatedly so just do it again. I've only had to do it twice

Some of her stories about her time at Castle Volkihar involve alcohol.
vampires in the elder scrolls drink both "normal" drinks and blood
I restarted Skyrim I played it in years and I'm using mods I've never use the mods before the game is running great with the mods that I got in I ain't got a whole lot but three quarts is one of them loved the girl always have she's awesome always wish I could get with her and marry her and now that I can I'm curious if anybody respond would be great for the first date where would that be I know this is about the second date at the castle but I have a thing in miscellaneous that says go somewhere beautiful for your date with Serena so I'm not sure what I'm supposed to take her to do that any suggestions or help would be grateful thanks a lot and awesome video

No, I think they need to rework that part. How would she even know about the Champion of Cyrodill's involvement with the Greymarch and Sheo?
Because in Elder Scrolls lore, it's not even public knowledge. Not to mention Serana didn't take the time to study up on history and all the events
she missed in the passed two Eras.

Playing the mod myself. She explains that she got a overview of past events at the castle. And the rest can be assumed to be learned in your travels. In your mind's eye, is your Dragonborn always ignoring sleep(assuming mortal), or not eating, or running endlessly all over Skyrim without fatigue? To me, I imagine my DB is resting and sleeping when I wait, fast travel, or generally when I visit a town. The Champion of Cyrodil has a lot of legend. Who can say.
Heck, in my Skyrim playthrough there was a full in-game month between me escorting her home and her showing up at Fort Dawnguard. I could easily imagine her taking a few weeks to read up on history since she's more or less stuck in the castle with nothing to do; and since most of the books in Skyrim are short and to-the-point, I think it's belieable that she'd catch up on history in that timeframe.

There's a book in the bards college that covers this i think, but it addresses it as rumors. I'd have to double check it again. I just remember It caught me off guard

They're a vanilla book that theories it, probably read it.

i don't understand how this triggers, i am married with her, i have waited several ingame weeks and ran circles around whiterun and she doesn't talk to me about a second date. Also the stuff with the "calm" spell she cast on the player doesn't trigger
I don't know the reason but for the calm spell was an addition was added at a certain point and only works on newer playthrough after it was added

At 3:29 Does she recognize male characters? I play a dude & he certainly doesn't have a very "feminine form"... Would she say something like masculine or something if I romanced her as a male? Or is she speaking for the dragonborn and is referring to her own body instead?
She recognises all gender and races

It usually takes up to a week I think, it should just randomly come up
