This weekend we had a House Flipper Date Night. Every now and again I get the desire to redecorate everything, and House Flipper is just the distraction I need to stop me from tearing the whole apartment apart. Even though I really love this game, I can get a little carried away with it. So I'm lucky I have him to pull me back out every time I go on another deep dive. Even still we always have a good time playing House Flipper on Date Night.

If you like cleaning windows, then I must recommend game named Power wash. It's all about washing dirty windows, houses and other objects and it's always satisfying. It also has co-op. And it should still be on gamepass.
Yeah, Powerwash Simulator is a weird game. It's actually sort of dumb and it shouldn't be fun, yet... it is and it's great for relaxing. I usually play it while listening to music or a podcast (after having turned the volume sliders down in the game) and it's very stress-relieving. Well, at least until there's one little piece of dirt you can't see under a wheelwell and you spend the next 30 minutes trying to figure out what you missed.
I love you guys. I literally can watch your content for hours with an uncontrollable grin on my face. You give me enough hope to live on. Thank you for this masterpiece of a chanell
To this day, I still wish cleaning in real life was as quick and easy as it is in this game.

That intro was literally me and my sister, we'd always be watching hgtv and whenever those parts where the remodelers show the rendered spaces of what they want to do in the house we'd repeatedly say "That would be an awesome game..." then this gets announced after which we immediately both bought it on steam playing everything available in the first week! 🤣
Edit: (Around 1:06) Just a heads up for anyone with a full on fear/phobia of Cockroaches or Bugs in general, in the Settings the devs included a "Replace Roaches With Glass" option which was really nice thought on their part.
I'd love to see a terraria date night from you two, that'd be amazing to watch. And if either of you need any convincing:
for him: there's a stupid amount of min-maxing to do and there's so much loot and so many cool bosses to kill
for her: there's separate vanity slots for armor and accesories, you can switch between 3 different loadouts (and styles) at any moment and all of those can be dyed all sorts of crazy colors, oh and there's like a million pets and vanity outfits
They already have a couple old videos of terraria gameplay ...

House Flipper is 100% the game in which I went "I really want it! But I don't want to spend money!", haha. Yet another "Live vicariously through you guys" situation, I suppose!
It's cool to see your guys' unique takes on house design. A shame the outsides still look really lame, though, haha.

Amazing as always! 2 recommendations today, both a bit weird:
1. Viscera Cleanup Detail - The clean up part in interesting environments, a lot of viscera though, so might get a big squeamish.
2. Some mmo's have really good housing systems, but for most its an addon to the game, so its hard to recommend. "A Tale in the Desert" is one that is purely focused on crafting, building and trading, so it fills a similar meticulously creating your own business niche.

this also reminds me of the time i played viscera cleanup detail. even if it's E-trash, it's somehow satisfying. like bulk deleting emails more physically.
There's a setting for the cockroaches! It becomes broken glasses. I always use it, I can't stand cockroaches, I feel like they're going to crawl out of the screen.

Just so you know, you have the option to turn off the cockroaches.

Again another awesome video! You can actually change the cockroaches to glass in the settings. You can also change your hands into different ones like zombie or robot hands for a little extra goofiness!

I remember playing this game, I found a house similar to mine and tried making an exact replica, but during this I noticed my houses walls were unnaturally thick and a room was just missing, not gone, but rather the space were a room would go was just wall. Ignoring the now overwhelming sense of dread, I took a sledge hammer and created a hole into the supposed missing room, as the dust settled I saw the silhouette of a man inside. Turns out it was my dad and he had renovated the house so he could live in the walls and watch us, he had a whole set up for it: A security camera system set up on multiple monitors, a pot cooking what looked and smelt like casserole, he had ever brought in a deasil generator to power the whole thing. Thinking back on it now, I remember when it probably happened, it was when I had a friend from school come over to hang out, I didn't pay much attention to it at the time but my dad was knocking down walls, he tore down the wall to my room to try and mess up my hair before giving up and running into my room. When my friend questioned the cost of the renovation, my dad explained how he had become rich from his old job where he collected millions of 'Bits'. then we left to go Go-karting and I'm pretty sure he showed up to the track later that night too, because he messed up my hair again as he sped past me and then I didn't see him again until I found him.

If you want the game where you clean up after other violent video game characters: Viscera Cleanup Detail. You didn't get to shoot the aliens, but you sure have to tidy up after them!

Oh btw, asking again for an Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee or Abe's Exoddus date night! It was one of the best platformers of the PlayStation 1 era, has an interesting story, awesome atmosphere and art style, and it's hard. Like, really hard.

1:10 i feel obligated to pause here and tell you something. You have the option to disable roaches in the Game settings and instead see broken glass.
