To anyone who can't fine the "Make Frames from Layers" in the Timeline flyout menu, I found the solution in the Adobe forums. Just double click "Create Frame Animation" in the Timeline and then "Make Frames From Layers" shows up as expected.

i did a lot of vector animations like this but idk its not that conftorbal... i want to make a cubhead animations and im having trouble with this method...

Hey, thanks for your sharing. I got a question about open GIF that I saved if I open the file directly, it's separate images in the file. Is this only open through the web? If I wanna upload gif on Instagram, how to do it.
PROBLEM SOLVED- so I couldn’t get the MAKE FRAME from layer to work. I found that clicking where it says create frame animation it makes one. Than I go into the drop down & click make frames from layers! Also found that it was saving as a transparent background. So when you go to export the file in illustrator you have an option. Transparent or color background 👍 Or use rectangle tool, fill a solid color. Than lock it -. ctl + 2 on windows. Than save/export. Hope this helps someone ❤️🌎🌱

When I made tNice tutorials, there was no working Mac version. On mac, a right click is a 2 finger press on the track pad.
