  • In this poi spinning lesson we look at split-time hip reels, also known as "watermill" and how really it's no different than windmill.

something I just discovered recently - all the cross points between in front of the body and behind the body are happening away from the center of the body.
but there is some really really missing reels, or "negative reels" or mysterious reels, that can happen between the hands and the body, just bellow the armpit if you are doing watermills or between the hands and the head if you are doing windmills.
I will show you them when we meet in a week or so.

I found the "missing reel" playing around with the different timings and trying to figure out if I was doing same time, split time and then "something else." that something else was the missing reel.

Haha! The doggie was fun! Way do cats and dogs always run to you if you're spinning things at high velocity?
