My commentary on Riva Tims's feeble challenge to Paula White as successor to her former late husband's church. Televangelist Paula White has just been selected as the new pastor of New Destiny Christian Center (formerly pastored by the late Zachery Tims). Paula White accepted saying, "I will come to my new assignment with a servant's heart, humbled by this great responsibility and grateful for the confidence the board has shown in naming me Senior Pastor," Pastor Paula said. I was watching the latest episode of Preachers of LA. Pastor Cheney was trying to if he wanted to elect his wife as co pastor and had to present it to the board. I immediately thought of this video. Thank you for your work.
She helped build that church with her husband. She should have came forth.
Actually it doesn't work that way... Its Jesus church and His Word Rules... God has given the guidelines on how to run a church.. With leadership.
Depending on the church governing structure membership can matter. In many Southern Baptist congregations, the church board must be elected by the church members. Now NDCC is a church that I am not sure if that is explicit in church constitution and bylaws. I do know that even the nations largest Southern Baptist Church, [Second Baptist Church Houston] has it explicit in church documents. Traditional church governing structures usually are very clear.

This is my first exposure to you and I want more! As a Christian, I am somewhat aware of slights of hand & slights toward individuals in churches. Definitely not on this scale.
These are all false churches. also if Catholics say u have to be w their church to get into the kingdom, that too is false. No where in bible does it say this
$29M Church Default Heads to Auction

Plagued by a bankruptcy and mounting, unpaid code enforcement fines, a Florida church that received a loan from Evangelical Christian Credit Union in 2008 is up for auction.
According to local media reports, sealed bids for Without Walls Central Church in North Lakeland, Fla., are due by July 7. The auction is scheduled for July 8.
Without Walls Central is owned by the Tampa, Fla.-based Without Walls International Church, which filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection March 5 owing $29 million to the $1 billion Evangelical Christian in Brea, Calif.

I have no bias on this because I simply don't care about this church (and I am not even a christian), but it is interesting research that you do. I like how you use the websites of the church and the secretary of state to expose what is going on, at least from a legal business perspective.
I am not exactly sure what your overall mission is, but I am gathering that what you are doing is exposing different things that go on in certain churches, especially when it involves what you see as bad behavior by certain members. It also seems to me that you pick out black members of these churches to expose, and I think the reason is not because you are anti-black or anti-christian (obviously), but because you would like these leaders to represent black christian people better than they seem to in your eyes. Am I getting the gist of it?
I agree with that all they have to do Is leave that church....
If they weren't on the 501c3 they wouldn't be a topic right now nor would the news casters be allowed to put this up as news. If it is a house of God than you do not need government funds or help from them in any way the minute you do that they have your permission to dictate what you can and cannot do in the house of God. This is not a house of God so it is not even a topic.
Anyone with the Holy Ghost inherently knows who is of God and who is not.

And the Church goes from what 5 members to MEGA CHURCH status in 6 years, with no outside,... uh "INFLUENCE"? Yeah ok. Smells fishy, and I am not talkind about the 5 loaves of bread and 2 fish either.
First of all women should not be pastors. Second, this is nothing but a money grab.
