Commissioner here. Back again. So, for this this one the connections aren't super strong, just medieval fantasy sword fighters. I mostly just wanted a matchup for Doraleous and Jon Snow was my first thought. Brandon did a great job on the track as always. And I definitely think you guys should check out Doraleous & Associates. It's completely free on UA-cam and I believe they have a compilation of the entire series on their UA-cam channel NeebsGaming.
I hate it when people don’t like a matchup when it doesn’t have over 10 connections. Like, this fight is just fun; no complex connections needed.

I'll admit that out of all possible track names, this one isn't the most selling. However I'll also note that seeing a webseries of all things on a commission is definitely interesting, I may take a look at D&A once I'm done with this because it seems pretty interesting even if it's been cancelled it seems.
As for the song itself, it's pretty nice for sure. It has a very distinct orchestral and grand feeling to it with hints of comedy that make for a really good balance of the two. It's a very unique combo because it still manages to get across comedic tones (IE: 0:33-0:57) but all the while still sounding serious and grand which is quite the challenge for sure and makes for a very interesting song.
I especially like the fact that the song doesn't quite devolve fully into comedy. As said above it definitely has comedic tones but it never feels like a joke song which fits here as you'd likely have a few jokes thrown around into the fight between those two but it'd still feel like a real fight. It's a great choice to have gone about it this way in my opinion.
I do however have one minor issue in that I do feel like the main melody of the song (IE: 0:00-0:33 ) does get a bit redundant with how much it's used throughout the song. It's not bad by any means and in a vacuum it's not problematic but the fact that it's repeated so much and that each time it's repeated the segments are quite long with little variation means that the melody ends up feeling a bit stagnant/redundant. From the rest of the song I assume that it's at least partially on purpose for the theming but it still stops me from loving the song as much as I could.
However I really like the segments where the melody is shifted around to feel different (IE: 1:55-2:28) because it actually renews it and makes it feel familiar yet different, something that's appreciable.
But that small issue aside I also want to note the segment which to me is the highlight of the song, that being the entire 3:05-4:11 segment which, while not being the actual ending of the song, definitely feels worthy of it. It still keeps that slightly comedic feeling but shifts it to end up in a much more grand and even more orchestral segment that sounds genuinely really good. I do understand why the song's ending is more "standard" by using the main melody which is more agressive, to showcase how the ending of this battle would be quite brutal and bloody, but I most definitely prefer the aforementioned segment due to the theming that it takes.
I'll also note the outro starting at 4:34 which, while short, is very appreciable as it keeps that militaristic and medieval feel but combines it with an heroic and slightly tragic feel to showcase how the death of either character at the end would be seen as a sad event. It's a simple but really well made outro that fits the rest of the song in how enjoyable it is.
Overall this track is very unique for sure. It takes two completely opposite things and manages to make a song that not only still keeps both sides' feelings intact but that also sounds really good as a whole even if it does end up feeling a bit repetitive at times. Still, despite this flaw the positives heavily outweigh the negatives meaning that the song is more than enjoyable as a whole. Amazing job as always with this.
I wouldn't really say it's canceled, since they did eventually get the rights back from Machinima and the last few episodes were made after that. It's more that they simply moved on from it.
This is a deep cut of a reference I wasn’t expecting.
