wow damn this is a long time ago, i was 18 and this was one of the first punk gigs i went to... i still have the ticket from this show, can barely make out the words in it. so washed out.
@CommBreakDown ha ha. My sign-on name isn't what it appears to be, but I'm glad you found the humor in it. ;P Yeah. You're right. Ian is a good guitar player, but like you said, he's in the lower half. I guess I was shocked to see him playing guitar because all this time, I thought that someone else was playing guitar in Fugazi. He never played guitar in Minor Threat so I was just assuming that he was strictly a vocal guy. =)
Ian even always has several envelopes with entrance fee inside with him at the shows. When they have to kick out some "tough guy" jerks because of starting fights or violent dancing crap, he gives them their money back when they get pushed outside because like he said, they [Fugazi] don't want any money from people who don't give a shit about the music.
you can see theres barricades and its pretty much impossible to get on the stage, if you manage to get on the security will pretty much throw you across the room
If you watch Alesana, they take alot of their stuff from Fugazi. Not steal, but use their stuff, shows how much Fugazi has affectd the music scene today.
No they aren't. Well, some youtube video are taken from instrument, but very few and not this one. This said, order Instrument from Dischord Records directly, it's cheap and will be shipped fast. Very good documentary if you enjoy Fugazi!
luv the song...actually, i wish i could "dance" like the guy in orange...it's me you don't want to watch dance, so i don't lol...well, yea, luved slam dancing back in the 80's at concerts.

wtf are you arguing about? music is great, but punk isn't music, speed, singing style or clothes. punk is a state of mind and a conscious lifestyle. fugazi are the greatest band of my/our/their/your era but insults on a web page about not singing it right? come on...
@tiarnan17 that fucking cracked me up. he is killin it with them robot moves. hahaah fuck " im gonna try them next chance i get" - oh shit thats great. im so fuckin stoned right now
Emo this,Emo that whatever. These arguements on Utube about whose Punk, core, sellout, emo, bluegrass are usually coming from 25yo critics still living at home. Whats interesting to see in this Video is the polite Scandian mosh pit. Nobody invades anyones space in the crowd. Civility even at a Fugasi show.
Yeah. Were it not for people being fed up with superficial bullshit and general lack of depth associated with Ted and his ilk, good bands like Fugazi would have never emerged. So I suppose you're right.
one of the best bands ever
Music is all I need.
i cant believe nobody mentioned the way picciotto dances, i wish i could dance like that
I can dance like Picciotto. Just saying....................... ha
Hit the crack pipe 20 times in a row and you'll be dancing like that in no time.
@@joeyoung1498 they're straight-edge..
He looks like Elaine from seinfeld
he's not dancing, it's how he's travel
I was lucky enough to see them back in the day and the cover was always $5.
perfection on stage !
I never got to see them, and as their indefinite hiatus continues and they get older that likelihood shrinks exponentially.....
What a great band!!
I was lucky enough to play them every night on underground college radio air waves in Boston, when they first came out.
which station? I loved Cantone's!
please guys come back! New album!
i wait, i wait, i wait
This band is bad ass, the bass player is playing a bass through a marshall!
No he’s not, that’s Guy’s amp. There are a handful of songs that he doesn’t play guitar on.
The opening track on the 13 songs cd which is one of my all-time faves
i still love this song...
I like them!
Very much.

Epic as ever.
Such a good song, try to listen to it everyday. It's as memorable as a football chant and layered with meaning.

machadomas the d.c. show in 88' was epic. I think there is a video on here of it...
Did Guy unintentionally invent "shuffling"??
@Alphabex8 no worries. it was my stage name while i was in a band. I used to dress in drag while on stage.
have fugazi ever replaced their guitars hahaha?
the rickenbacker is pretty sweet
Shut the door is also popular...
hell yeah!
@waffles032 I see it now. I didn't see the Rickenbacker beside the amp. Still a good band.

they're just different sounds, equally respectable, don't diss the dead unless you can jam better than

he's in band called the evens
@waffles032 I'm confused. But there's no amp for the bass player?
Because it's Lally
Is it just me but I click on this the song is 56 seconds long but it says longer befor I click it
Fugazi 2000 = big fans of shirts.
they are..being popular dosn't mean you are good..look at the backstreet boys
Video is from a different performance of the song....
Smallpox champion the next song? Sounded like the intro.
Check out Guy's footwork skills!

Look how he move

It's funny how Ian just stops. "Um...hey."
yeah i would say the clasical station is more metal then the metal station
thats great!! but i prefer "no surprise"

@CommBreakDown Sure there are kids out there who can out-shred ian, but can they write songs like he can? Hmmmm....I dunno bout that. =)
oh
Yeah. Were it not for people being fed up with superficial bullshit and general lack of depth associated with Ted and his ilk, good bands like Fugazi would have never emerged. So I suppose you're right.
@Brozotheclown Why, you just turn 21 or something? I know straight-edge guys who always have a good time. It's not about the booze bro.

jebeno dobri...
Fifty million Dead fans don't know what planet they're on. Dead Heads, that is.
I've heard a lot about this band being good.
Guess you shouldn't believe everything you hear.
What the fuck, Billy Talent covered Waiting Room?! I'm not even going to listen to it, they're not a scratch on Fugazi, nor will they ever be.
dar spik. Nae doot.
