Glad to have you back Andy!😊 FYI, be cautious of whom you invite over to your house. You’re a brilliant young mind and I think we can all agree we want you stay safe as you get closer to your goals. I look forward to the day we all get to witness your build! Btw building a console pc myself currently 🎉
This video came across my recommended and I had it in my watch later for a few days. It didn't disappoint! I've recently started building pc's for myself and you're doing extremely well, I can't wait to see what builds you make in the future. Keep up the great work, you've definitely earned a sub for life from me! 👍
Buying used motherboards on ebay isn’t the best strategy. *edit* I was referring to bare motherboards. A CPU/motherboard combo known working is much less risky. 😅
@@RobertFixit 🙂 as a buyer your covered, if the seller is a scammer, you can still get your money back from Ebay Corp, just test the board as soon as you get it delivered because theres a return window, samething on amazon, maybe new egg too
if you can setup an open air bench to test boards and power supplies, bad boards might simply be stuck or very picky, try clearing cmos and try replaceing the battery, try different cpus, try different bus powered video cards, try different ram sticks, if you have a good eye see if you can see any physical damage to the board or pins or micro fractures of the board itself. Be very careful as an Online Seller because most online stores side with buyers when theres a dispute and too many buyers nowadays are scammers, too many honest sellers are getting the shaft. And new parts are not as durable like they usta, test any new computers over the course of several days of use regular use, cause it might break in a matter of days of simply being powered on, cooling off overnight, powering on, etc.
Congrats on the sale Funny how we chat with customers all day long, but in person its like hey let’s make this as quick as possible LOL. 😂😂😂 I don’t know if Jawa allows you to sell something you don’t have yet. Be careful with that. ❤
great video Andy! I love seeing people succeed! Definitely a good business model to list high spec PCs with a longer processing time so you can order the spec after it is paid for, that way you are not out of money to build it in the first place. I would also flip GPUs on the side as you always get more margin from them and they turnover faster! What is the final specs of your dream PC? I just build a pc for around 1k earlier in the year and I am really happy with it for editing 🙂
I absolutely love your videos man! Im really inspired to do this myself but unfortunately im extremely poor and jawa isnt available in my country, Keep up the good work!
Hey Andy your motherboards might not be broken it might be that they need a bios update. When buying used motherboards it’s likely that the Bios hasn’t been updated and it’s not compatible with the CPU at that current version so before selling try to update the motherboard bios.
That Gigabyte board is most likely needing a bios flash, I have the same board in my current build, it shipped with an old bios, and had to be updated to the latest one. Try that if you haven't already done so. They have issues with the newer processors.
i would say you should buy anti static gloves, its like 5 dollars, and you have very little chance to fry your motherboard, i ha it on when i built my pc so i am suggesting it. hope you get your dream build, love the vids
Many people have actually tested this theory. You don’t actually need to wear anti static gear. The chance of you shocking the board with static and it actually damages parts is close to zero. UA-camrs like Linus tech tips actually shocked themselves with electricity to test the theory and no parts were actually damaged. You’d need a pretty strong shock to do anything.
@@Thejet2 I mean it’s better to be safe than sorry. I wouldn’t care about static if it were a $60 board. But if it were a $300+ board I’m definitely wearing the gloves cuz I don’t want to be the 0.01% of people that shocks the board and it breaks LMAOO
get the msi mag a550bn or the 650bn. They typically go for $40-$55 on sale regularly and theyre good psu's compared to the ones ur using no hate just a tip.
bro I cant tell from the video but when your building pcs make sure you are aware of static electricity I have built pcs in the past and if you aciddently touch it after touching something that causes static electricity the pcs will break in like a year because of that so be careful when building brother
You should count the case and sponsored stuff for the price because the common person flipping doesn’t get free products or sponsorships like that and I’m sure a lot of people that watch these flip or want to flip pcs
Have you tried a bios update on the broken motherboards? If the bios doesn't support the cpu it might be a reason for a black screen and not booting up
🙂 yes i mentioned it too, since most of these builders stick with AM4 only i suggest buying several good used different cpus just to make sure its not the cpu preventing it from booting, like one from each generation, something with just two cores
@MrSamadolfo yep that's a good tip for Andy, because it would really suck if all of the motherboards he diagnosed fried, only had an old unsupported bios preventing the pc from booting🥲
everytime i here him say he broke something i get scared beaucse i did the same thing with my pc and now i have a broken power supply and mother board and a cpu just sitting around
I love watching your videos keep it up! Here's a verse: Matthew 4:4- “But he answered and said, 'It is written, 'Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God'"
Question: do you use Jawa to buy stuff, and if so do you get charged with sales tax? Because in my state jawa is required to charge me an extra 10% because of sales tax.
I have only ever bought thing on Jawa, usually people that are selling things know what they are worth and can’t find great deals, the best deals are in the graphics cards that Jawa sell themselves
Also, good luck with ebay. I rodered from a guy and i never received the package. When i contacted the guy, he threatened me. I opened a claim with ebay, because he refused to help fix the problem. Ebay denied the claim and didnt do anything about the dude threatening me. Ebay def. doesnt care about buyer protection once they get their money.
Feel free to check Jawa out if your looking to buy or sell stuff!

One of the time stamps in the video says "Jaa" instead it should be "Jawa"?
Looking better than our last Facebook flip of -$100 lol
Dayum bro you made it. TB commented on your vid! Congrats!

Good job man! I actually watch ToastyBros all the time and your video popped up on my feed I’m sure because of them!! Keep up the good work!!
To be fair, when it comes to beating your builds the bar is set pretty low.

Something to consider with your motherboards is to check CPU compatibility. Some might work but just need the bios updated.

not on god brother🙏
finally! i'm hooked to this series.
It's funny how him and Elijah's Lab always have broken motherboards. I'm starting to think it's user error, no way it's that common...

They buy a lot of them so ofc some of them will be faulty.

you could make a nuclear bomb with all of the aresgame psus youve used
probably lol I'm surprised the FBI hasn't caught on yet
@@Andy_Tibbs yeah maybe you should give the buyers decent quality psus from now on

I generally don't get low end motherboards for this exact issue. I have used msi boards a lot, and they never failed me.

Maybe you need to update the motherboard’s bios blind for the white build, that could be the issue.

Was it linus techtips who bought your broken motherboard 😂 They just did an episode with broken motherboards
when you get your dream pc please also get a good monitor 😭
i will don't worry
better stock up on Ryzen 5 5500s because they are good for starter pcs and are on like a 49% sale of amazon which can be cheaper than a used one
get the msi mag a550bn or the 650bn. They typically go for $40-$55 on sale regularly and theyre good psu's compared to the ones ur using no hate just a tip.

things like carpet, blanket can cause this
Things like this have actually been debunked, your more likely to have a foulty part then to fry it from static

most profit i have made is 400 on a pc the average is like 230-300 for me
6:49 A520 doest work with ryzen 1000, 2000(G) & 3000G
you must downgrade the bios
@strongestsigma on older 300 bords that can be the case, a520 never had support in the first place
