- On the 9th of Rabi al Awal, Twelver Shias celebrate what is known as Eid ul Zahra. This year, the celebration will fall on the 26th of October. What many do not know, is that this is a celebration of the slaughter of the great companion of the Prophet ﷺ, Omar ibn Al Khattab (RA) by Abu Luluah al Majosi. The killing of Omar is celebrated because the Twelver Shia believe Omar killed the daughter of the Prophet ﷺ, Fatimah (RA).
In this video, Bu Noor (@bu_noor89) explains how the hateful and provocative festival is celebrated and also how it is disguised using taqiyya by so called "Sunni-Shia unity" callers and the Iranian regime.

اَللّٰہُمَّ عَذِّبْہُمْ عَذَابًا یَسْتَغِیْثُ مِنْہُ اَہْلُ النَّارِ اٰمِیْنَ رَبَّ الْعَالَمِیْنَ.

Umar even by non Muslim historians , is considered one of the greatest men to ever live . They praise his leadership and his legacy over the world. He changed the world forever and that cannot be denied . How some Shias can disrespect umar (ra ) is something I will never understand.
It's very strange. When i was a shia all this did not seem bad to me at all. Watching it now makes me feel disgusted with my past. I'm very confused as to why this used to make me happy and even laugh. But i think I understand, i believe i was doing shirk and therefore was possessed by demons. I did not have Allah's protection against them. I was a slave of shaytan. It's very very sad. Allah knows best.

Very sad and very shocking - I’m also from a Shia background and though non of my family would ever engage in such sickening behaviour & would be shocked at viewing this, it’s true there is a minority of extreme Shia that behave in such a disgraceful & hypocritical way. I am ex-Shia. The reason why my Shia community celebrate Eid-e-Zahra is because of the supposed killing of Umar ibn Sa'ad by Mukhtar. The celebration being attributed to the killing of Umar ibn Khattab is news to me. Other than that, yes it's commonly known that Shia curse certain sahaba and BULB means exactly as presented.

Some claim this yes. Some even believe the date marks the crowning of the Mahdi. Shia scholarship has often attempted to hide their beliefs from their followers. As a former Shia, I never heard of this, nor was aware of the divides in Islam. Neither did I hear anyone curse family or companions. It's deliberately instigated to divide Islam because the devils children don't want to enlighten the world.
and now you know. You may not hear them curse but in their heart, they hate the first three companions and Prophet Muhammad's wife, Aisha. I've been to Shiachat. Even the weakest of them encourage the shia to curse the companion in Dua' instead of celebrating it.
I can relate to Bu noor a lot especially because my family is from Najaf Kufa area but I was the first born in the USA Alhamdulillah for Islam (Quran and sunnah)

Ahhh, now I saw, which shop they are talking about! A'udhu billah! They are "mourning" on every Ashura in front of this shop. There for the streets are closed in the inner city. The non- muslim citizens of Bonn HATE IT! It scares their kids and makes such a bad image on Islam. We Ahlu Sunna are the majority of the Muslims in Bonn and we always have to explain ourselves, that this is not Islam. it's terrible!

As a Muslim, inclined towards the Shia belief, let me tell you that the Shia behaviour of today is very weird, they are not at all following their books, but are diverted to practice innovative tribal traditions, taking them out of the folds of Islam. Alhamdulillah, I've researched a lot, and I follow the Quran and the Sunnah and love the Ahlalbayt. Shias nowadays doing such practices, inflicting themselves with knives and blades all of this is not in their books! Yes not at all, but yet the Shia are diverted to follow the tribal innovations and traditions which is saddening, these extremist Shias take things to the level where they won't even look back to what their collection of hadith and historical sources have to say. As I would always say, pursue towards the unity of the Ummah, and do not diverge into Shia and Sunni, but be A Muslim. Don't let these extremist mis portray the Shia faith and school of thought. And if any of you'll want to have a conversation more into discussing the faith and questions about it, please do ask, inshaAllah we will discuss about it being respectful to each other, cause I've seen many Sunnis having tons of misunderstandings of the Shia school of thought because of this extremist mis potrayal. May Allah SWT guide us all.

Another thing to take into account is that the quran addresses people with certain characteristics and not just the people themselves. If that doesnt satisfy you then to each their own.

Narrated Safinah: The Prophet (ﷺ) said: The Caliphate of Prophecy will last thirty years; then Allah will give the Kingdom of His Kingdom to anyone He wills.
Sa'id told that Safinah said to him: Calculate Abu Bakr's caliphate as two years, 'Umar's as ten, 'Uthman's as twelve and 'Ali so and so. Sa'id said: I said to Safinah: They conceive that 'Ali was not a caliph. He replied: The buttocks of Marwan told a lie.
