Because Christianity, Shiism and Sufism share many similarities. Christian’s pray to the saints , John , Luke, Christopher , Mary etc… the Sufis and Shias do the same. They all believe in intersession. Likewise Shias, Sufis and Christians mix philosophy with religion.. they share many similarities.

Me personally, I only know 4 surahs of the quran, and it is enough for me to pray. That being said, praying is only one simple form of ibadet. The strongest ibadet is not being a slave to anything. Knowing more surahs only means your parents forced you to learn them, it doesn’t mean your insincere. Secondly your goal should be to be on the truth, and the only truth is Allah. And if u want to be on the truth, then read what happened to the prophets family after he died. And open your eyes to the truth. You goal should be to please allah, jannah is only what comes after

The closest of the slaves of Allah are the ones who live by the Quran and to live by the Quran, would 100% require you to memorize it fully n understand it. Dear, Shia muslims believe that Prophet Muhammad PBUH is the last messenger and the best of creatures, Shia muslims follow Imam Ali AS because the prophet said so, please read this verse: Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala said: إِنَّ الَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ أُولٰٓئِكَ هُمْ خَيْرُ الْبَرِيَّةِ "Indeed, they who have believed and done righteous deeds - those are the best of creatures." (QS. Al-Bayyina 98: Verse 7) And then read Tafseer Al-Tabari (a muslim Sunni scholar) : وقد: حدثنا ابن حميد, قال: ثنا عيسى بن فرقد, عن أبي الجارود, عن محمد بن عليّ( أُولَئِكَ هُمْ خَيْرُ الْبَرِيَّةِ ) فقال النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم: " أنْتَ يا عَلي وَشِيعَتُكَ". Translation: The prophet PBUH said about the "the best of creatures": "You, oh Ali, and your Shia (group)". So the word Shia came from the prophet PBUH and this is from a Sunni interpretation book of a Quranic verse. Also, the prophet asked us to follow Imam Ali PBUH, again, it is from a Sunni book: Jami at Tirmidhi، Hadith Number 3713: Narrated Abu Sarihah, or Zaid bin Arqam - Shu'bah had doubt: from the Prophet (ﷺ): For whomever I am his Mawla then 'Ali is his Mawla. حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ كُهَيْلٍ، قَال: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا الطُّفَيْلِ يُحَدِّثُ، عَنْ أَبِي سَرِيحَةَ أَوْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَرْقَمَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: مَنْ كُنْتُ مَوْلَاهُ فَعَلِيٌّ مَوْلَاهُ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى: هَذَا حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ غَرِيبٌ، وَقَدْ رَوَى شُعْبَةُ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ، عَنْ مَيْمُونٍ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَرْقَمَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَحْوَهُ وَأَبُو سَرِيحَةَ هُوَ حُذَيْفَةُ بْنُ أَسِيدٍ الْغِفَارِيُّ صَاحِبُ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ. Translation of Abu Essa's Comment: This is strange good true/Sahih (Hadith). Meaning of Maula مولى : Master, Lord or supporter. Note how he said "Strange", because it is clearly against the Sunni view and it clearly supports the Shia's view of Imam Ali as the true successor of the prophet appointed by him. So we follow Imam Ali because we believe that the prophet said that he is our master, we believe that Allah and the prophet are very caring and merciful and wouldn't leave the islamic nation without a successor, just like how prophet Jesus PBUH appointed Simon/Peter and like how prophet Moses appointed prophet Joshua PBUT, Allah and the prophet wouldn't leave the last religion without a successor. Translation of Abu Essa's Comment: This is strange good true/Sahih (Hadith). Meaning of Maula مولى : Master, Lord or supporter. Nowruz, charshombey sory are perfect example, all from persian pagan. shia also mixed up believe with christians like 'panj thani pak' Ali is their mediator like jesus for christians. For example, shia believes that in kabar, those angel will ask you, who's your friend? and you suppose to say 'Ali is my friend'. If you say otherwise then you'll be in big trouble, no matter what. I grew up learning that, for my prayer to be accepted, I have to believe and give swear/byhah to a alive imam from Iran, and this call 'thakleed' it's believing in a mujthahid/imam to mediator to other 12 shia imams like Jafir Sathiq, Zainul Abadeen. Me personally, I only know 4 surahs of the quran, and it is enough for me to pray. That being said, praying is only one simple form of ibadet. The strongest ibadet is not being a slave to anything. Knowing more surahs only means your parents forced you to learn them, it doesn’t mean your insincere.
Secondly your goal should be to be on the truth, and the only truth is Allah. And if u want to be on the truth, then read what happened to the prophets family after he died. And open your eyes to the truth. You goal should be to please allah, jannah is only what comes after

Dear, Shia muslims believe that Prophet Muhammad PBUH is the last messenger and the best of creatures, Shia muslims follow Imam Ali AS because the prophet said so, please read this verse:
Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala said:
إِنَّ الَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ أُولٰٓئِكَ هُمْ خَيْرُ الْبَرِيَّةِ
"Indeed, they who have believed and done righteous deeds - those are the best of creatures."
(QS. Al-Bayyina 98: Verse 7)
And then read Tafseer Al-Tabari (a muslim Sunni scholar) :
وقد: حدثنا ابن حميد, قال: ثنا عيسى بن فرقد, عن أبي الجارود, عن محمد بن عليّ( أُولَئِكَ هُمْ خَيْرُ الْبَرِيَّةِ ) فقال النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم: " أنْتَ يا عَلي وَشِيعَتُكَ".
Translation: The prophet PBUH said about the "the best of creatures": "You, oh Ali, and your Shia (group)".
So the word Shia came from the prophet PBUH and this is from a Sunni interpretation book of a Quranic verse.
Also, the prophet asked us to follow Imam Ali PBUH, again, it is from a Sunni book:
Jami at Tirmidhi، Hadith Number 3713:
Narrated Abu Sarihah, or Zaid bin Arqam - Shu'bah had doubt: from the Prophet (ﷺ): For whomever I am his Mawla then 'Ali is his Mawla.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ كُهَيْلٍ، قَال: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا الطُّفَيْلِ يُحَدِّثُ، عَنْ أَبِي سَرِيحَةَ أَوْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَرْقَمَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: مَنْ كُنْتُ مَوْلَاهُ فَعَلِيٌّ مَوْلَاهُ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى: هَذَا حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ غَرِيبٌ، وَقَدْ رَوَى شُعْبَةُ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ، عَنْ مَيْمُونٍ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَرْقَمَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَحْوَهُ وَأَبُو سَرِيحَةَ هُوَ حُذَيْفَةُ بْنُ أَسِيدٍ الْغِفَارِيُّ صَاحِبُ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ.
Translation of Abu Essa's Comment: This is strange good true/Sahih (Hadith).
Meaning of Maula مولى : Master, Lord or supporter.
Note how he said "Strange", because it is clearly against the Sunni view and it clearly supports the Shia's view of Imam Ali as the true successor of the prophet appointed by him.
So we follow Imam Ali because we believe that the prophet said that he is our master, we believe that Allah and the prophet are very caring and merciful and wouldn't leave the islamic nation without a successor, just like how prophet Jesus PBUH appointed Simon/Peter and like how prophet Moses appointed prophet Joshua PBUT, Allah and the prophet wouldn't leave the last religion without a successor.

The proof that Wahhabis are mujassima (claim God has a body , like none ) , thus what preceds applies to them , from the words of their scholar Ibn Etheimin

*_Exposing Wahhabis from their books_* 📕 :
The wahhabis believe that they can *_literally_* see God with their eyes at the day of Judgement
They contradict the crystal clear Ayah in the Quran that says :
*_God can't be seen , but he can see everything_*
*_لَّا تُدْرِكُهُ الْأَبْصَارُ وَهُوَ يُدْرِكُ الْأَبْصَارَ ۖ وَهُوَ اللَّطِيفُ الْخَبِيرُ_*
(الأنعام 103)
They insist on this ka|fir Aqida and reject any other tafsir , disregarding God's orders :
*_هُوَ الَّذِي أَنزَلَ عَلَيْكَ الْكِتَابَ مِنْهُ آيَاتٌ مُّحْكَمَاتٌ هُنَّ أُمُّ الْكِتَابِ وَأُخَرُ مُتَشَابِهَاتٌ ۖ فَأَمَّا الَّذِينَ فِي قُلُوبِهِمْ زَيْغٌ فَيَتَّبِعُونَ مَا تَشَابَهَ مِنْهُ ابْتِغَاءَ الْفِتْنَةِ وَابْتِغَاءَ تَأْوِيلِهِ ۗ وَمَا يَعْلَمُ تَأْوِيلَهُ إِلَّا اللَّهُ ۗ وَالرَّاسِخُونَ فِي الْعِلْمِ يَقُولُونَ آمَنَّا بِهِ كُلٌّ مِّنْ عِندِ رَبِّنَا ۗ وَمَا يَذَّكَّرُ إِلَّا أُولُو الْأَلْبَابِ_*
[ سورة آل عمران : ٧ ]
Here is their scholar Ibn Etheimin in his book 📕 titled " _* Explanation of the Aqida Wasitiya_* " 📚 Volume 2 📃Page 458 , claiming :
" *_People will see God at the day of Judgement with their eyes , and that it is acceptable to say God has a body_* "
basing his claims on this verse that says :
*_Faces at that day are cheerful . Looking at its lord_*

Whereas shias consider that these Ayahs need Ta'weel
They do not mean looking at God literally , they are metaphors
How do you differ from Christians then ? You believe God has a body like them , and that you can see his body like them.
How can the limited slave of Allah see the unlimited !
The shia Tafsir 📗 says the metaphor means :
*_looking at the lord's Mercy and blessings_*
جاء في أمالي الصدوق: عن إبراهيم بن أبي محمود قال: قال علي بن موسى الرضا عليه السلام في قول الله عز وجل: "وجوه يومئذ ناضرة إلى ربها ناظرة" قال: يعني مشرقة تنتظر ثواب ربها.
وفي تفسير القمي: أي إلى رحمة الله ونعمته.

Dear, Shia muslims believe that Prophet Muhammad PBUH is the last messenger and the best of creatures, Shia muslims follow Imam Ali AS because the prophet said so, please read this verse:
Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala said:
إِنَّ الَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ أُولٰٓئِكَ هُمْ خَيْرُ الْبَرِيَّةِ
"Indeed, they who have believed and done righteous deeds - those are the best of creatures."
(QS. Al-Bayyina 98: Verse 7)
And then read Tafseer Al-Tabari (a muslim Sunni scholar) :
وقد: حدثنا ابن حميد, قال: ثنا عيسى بن فرقد, عن أبي الجارود, عن محمد بن عليّ( أُولَئِكَ هُمْ خَيْرُ الْبَرِيَّةِ ) فقال النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم: " أنْتَ يا عَلي وَشِيعَتُكَ".
Translation: The prophet PBUH said about the "the best of creatures": "You, oh Ali, and your Shia (group)".
So the word Shia came from the prophet PBUH and this is from a Sunni interpretation book of a Quranic verse.
Also, the prophet asked us to follow Imam Ali PBUH, again, it is from a Sunni book:
Jami at Tirmidhi، Hadith Number 3713:
Narrated Abu Sarihah, or Zaid bin Arqam - Shu'bah had doubt: from the Prophet (ﷺ): For whomever I am his Mawla then 'Ali is his Mawla.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ كُهَيْلٍ، قَال: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا الطُّفَيْلِ يُحَدِّثُ، عَنْ أَبِي سَرِيحَةَ أَوْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَرْقَمَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: مَنْ كُنْتُ مَوْلَاهُ فَعَلِيٌّ مَوْلَاهُ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى: هَذَا حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ غَرِيبٌ، وَقَدْ رَوَى شُعْبَةُ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ، عَنْ مَيْمُونٍ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَرْقَمَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَحْوَهُ وَأَبُو سَرِيحَةَ هُوَ حُذَيْفَةُ بْنُ أَسِيدٍ الْغِفَارِيُّ صَاحِبُ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ.
Translation of Abu Essa's Comment: This is strange good true/Sahih (Hadith).
Meaning of Maula مولى : Master, Lord or supporter.
Note how he said "Strange", because it is clearly against the Sunni view and it clearly supports the Shia's view of Imam Ali as the true successor of the prophet appointed by him.
So we follow Imam Ali because we believe that the prophet said that he is our master, we believe that Allah and the prophet are very caring and merciful and wouldn't leave the islamic nation without a successor, just like how prophet Jesus PBUH appointed Simon/Peter and like how prophet Moses appointed prophet Joshua PBUT, Allah and the prophet wouldn't leave the last religion without a successor.

@@London_01 I think some believe that even if one believe that the Quran is correct, but don't believe that Abu Bakr was the right Caliph of the prophet PBUH, he is considered non-muslim, although Abu Bakr's name is not mentioned in the Quran, so I think a muslim can believe in the Quran and don't believe that Abu Bakr was the Caliph, it seems that some Sunni don't agree, please correct me if I am wrong.

I am shia and I want to confirm to all my sunni brothers that WE DO NOT THINK ALI IS GOD/PROPHET Prophet Muhammad (SAW) is the last prophet not Ali. We also discourage the use of zanjir (the razors hit on the back), only the most extreme do this. Also we pray on a rock because it is sunnah of the prophet to pray on the earth instead of a carpet, no other reason. We are more alike than you know.

I'm a Hazara person from Afghanistan. I grew up as a shia. A few years ago Allah helped me open my eyes. I grew up learning many sinful things, Mey Allah forgive me. Iranian imams are putting kufir in shia's believe for hundreds of years. Nowruz, charshombey sory are perfect example, all from persian pagan. shia also mixed up believe with christians like 'panj thani pak' Ali is their mediator like jesus for christians. For example, shia believes that in kabar, those angel will ask you, who's your friend? and you suppose to say 'Ali is my friend'. If you say otherwise then you'll be in big trouble, no matter what.
I grew up learning that, for my prayer to be accepted, I have to believe and give swear/byhah to a alive imam from Iran, and this call 'thakleed' it's believing in a mujthahid/imam to mediator to other 12 shia imams like Jafir Sathiq, Zainul Abadeen.
