Eleven years later, in this unfortunate world event there is a shining star. They ARE playing together again over cyberspace and posting here on YT. Just search for them. They did a virtual concert in 2020, I believe. But, now Netflix is doing a live action and maaaybe (this is just me thinking), they can have another "virtual thing(?)". I really hope so!
Blue... I think this song is full of hope, this last stand, theres nothing much else to do, nothing else to lose, nothing to go back to, you are up against the wall like a tiger in to tight cage. I wish it to be so, because if not it is such a sad song.

Man The Seatbelts are seriously one of the biggest bands I've ever seen that consisted of musicians from several countries including all those guest artists... this may be pushing it but I'd say they are a modern day earth wind and fire

god. kanno is my hero. i think id flip out if i ever got to see her performing anything live. when i listen to this or the turn-a gundam concert i get soooo jealous.... and happy :)
yoko kanno is so good it's crazy. the medley she plays in the end has some parts in it that are very hard to play and she play it like it's nothing. She performs it effortlessly applying perfect and artful phrasing in a live situation which is very hard to pull off. but the best thing is that playing the piano isn't even her profession in the first place!... she composed all of that insane and masterful stuff the seatbelts played. respect to her, to me she's a prodigy ahead of her time.
2 years later there are 7 more idiots who, and I'm just guessing here, hate either live music, or music from anime, or music in general.. because I have no clue how 52 people can hate something so incredible. 0_o
