I feel like you're the Rachael Ray of the garden 😄 You have my favorite tutorials, and always get right to the point. I love your videos and the inspiration you give me!
Laura & Aaron, I'm so very sorry about Dexter! He truly was such a beautiful, sweet soul. I loved watching him in all the videos. RIP Dexter! Much love to you both!!
So sorry about Dexter:( Did y'all bury him on the property? My pets of the past are buried on my property. I have beautiful flowers planted on their graves.
I am living in a very small room in a daylight basement. I can't really have plants right now and getting to watch you really helps me scratch some of my plant itchy needs. Thank you.
I like this house, every little bit of it has a lot of plant work done in it and everything in it is made with love. I'm still new to this channel but started learning a lot. Thank you and best wishes!
I have followed your channel for years and avoided the succulent vids. I always over-loved (watered too much) any succulent I’ve ever had except aloe. I’ve killed so many babies. Now, I’m buying plants again because I saw your succulent propagation vid. Thank you for so much info. Your so pleasant to listen to and you explain things so well. I look forward to playing with my succulents in arrangements
I love your plant room!!! Those shelves are AMAZING I had no idea there was something like that on the market.... and double bulbs 🤩 Thank you so much for giving us the tour and educating us! I appreciate and am grateful for the information and education!
Yah! Thank you so much for naming the succulents. I have a few but don't know their names. At last I know the name of some of them by watching your videos. I have a Euphorbia Moonstone which I repotted today. Great video. Watching from the UK🇬🇧
They are ALL BEAUTIFUL plants Laura !!! PERFECT....The String of Pearls Is my Favorite plant...I have so many pots that I keep rooting them and they are a conversation piece..You certainly are the Succulents Rosette Queen for sure ! ♥♡♥
Love your planet room, and I love succulents ,I live in the northern part of Arizona so I try to stay with native plants to our region. Our summers are blistering hot and dry until the monsoons start around July 4, oh yes plan anything out doors and there will be rain ☔️.But I love ❤️ to sit on the patio and listen to the rain , sooo Zen ,and the scent of wet Earth drinking in all that life giving water ,don't get no better then that for me.🌌🌈👵🏻
would love to read a book in that room! thank you Laura for sharing your space with us. Got a shipment from Leaf & Clay from your last video from them and love my Lola!
I never had any luck with succulents since they eventually all died on me except for the spiky zebra variety and cacti. I have a feeling that all these Rosette type succulents also need very little water throughout the year. My sunlight is very bright indirect from a sunny West window.
I've ordered from leaf and clay so many times and my succulents and cacti always arrive in perfect condition. They always exceed my expectations every single time.
Garden Answer: Hi am definitely enjoying yours videos they very much helpful, I have watched other people videos they don't know what they talking about, but yours videos very much I can learn a lot Thank u so much hope to see more of yours videos 👍🏼✌️✌️😍
Garden Answer. Hi can u please post more of Videos for Jade plants how to take care of them and what kind soul to use, I have had many of my Jade plants died 😩😩 unfortunately I don't know if I put it wrong soil or some other factors, I would very much appreciate explanatory videos would help very much. Thanks ✌️👍🏼😃
I am planning a baby shower for my son and his wife and I am using succulents in teacups with little white pumpkins that are decorated with dried flowers in soft colors and larger white pumpkins as the centerpieces its a girl so we are doing pink and white. I like the same succulents you like and think they will look awesome!!! I really enjoy watching your videos
I am sooooo glad and grateful to have watched this video, in particular when you were talking about mealy bugs in your plant room which you thought might have come from one of the plants you had brought home. I went succulent shopping just this afternoon, and when I took out the “Chocolate Ball” sedum from its nursery container, I noticed some white powder on the soil. I remembered this video, so I inspected the plant closer, and lo and behold, it had mealy bugs and some black ants! I immediately took the plant to the sink, took the stems apart, removed the bugs (with ethyl alcohol) and dead (and about to be dead) leaves, and then gently rinsed the stems of as much soil as I could and laid them on some paper towel to dry. I don’t know if I did the right thing. I could have just thrown the plant away, but it would be a waste if I wouldn’t at least try to do something to save it. I hope I haven’t killed it instead! I just love your videos! I learn a lot from them and your succulent arrangements are so beautiful they’re inspiring.
You are having cold days in 30's seems so hard to believe winter is on the way. We are still stuck in the hot and sticky low 90s ,(should be in the low 80s and 70s) Finally cool air coming down from you! Tks Trying to prepare plants for change, tks for your tips.
Laura, I have tweeted you, but I seriously have an obsession with Succulents! 😳 I’m in love with the intricacies, varieties, colors and textures! They are so much fun! I have sooo many now... omg. Since I am in florida, I have to be careful they don’t get poured on. Therefore, I can’t really keep them outside. So I actually have a hard time keeping some from stretching. Since our lanai doesn’t have the sun right on it, it’s a challenge.
I just did a big shopping spree at Leaf & Clay. I loved the odd ball ones at the end. I checked them out and they have a bunch of “ugly” succulents and different color forms that I was into. I had a couple succulents years ago and your video inspired me to try again.
I live in a area that there are the big box stores and several small nurseries. You and few others talk about ordering online so I ordered a couple plants from leaf and clay and received damaged. I wanted to try for the experience. I will be walking in and selecting in the future. I'm happy most people have a better experience. Love your video. I do look for PW plants in the nurseries and have gotten a few. I live in a zone 9 and have most succulents outside using frost cloth. Keep up the good work u enjoy but don't force once the baby comes. He will come first as he should and we will be here until u feel comfortable coming back.
Good Morning Laura and Aaron. Just watched this video on the new succulents and enjoyed it. I wanted to tell you that up here were I live in Canada I used theString of Pearls in a Fairy Garden in a bird bath this year and Love Love Loved it. Also the Chipmunks Loved them and ate all the pearls off the stems. Kind of made me mad but I also Love the chipmunk,so it is 6 of one and half a dozen of the other as to whether to use it again. You guys are doing a Great Job!
Hi 👋 Laura . I love ❤️ the string of pearls and I also find it hard to come by . I live in QLD , Australia 🇦🇺 I also love ❤️ the sting of beans , donkeys tail and string of hearts . I'm hoping to make an arrangement of them in a hanging basket very soon . Great 👍 video . Have a great 👍 day
Hey Laura... I like u so much. You have an amazing personality and you make things so easy for beginners like me. Thanks to you. You earned a new subscriber 😀
I live in south eastern BC and was wondering which succulents will withstand the winters, as I can't really take them in every winter; I have some hens and chicks and seem to do alright. I really like watching all your videos, very informative.
I really enjoy re-watching your videos when it is too hot to garden! 😊 If I could only choose one succulent (on the table) it would be echeveria chroma, I love the color variegation on that one!💖 I have tons of succulents growing in my yard~ most are shaded right now because of the extreme heat🌞⛱ (Southern California). I could never pick just 12. Very good choices! 👏👏👏 And your plant room😍😍😍
That little boy is going to arrive asking for a plant and a shovel lol! Glad you are wearing your loose tops I still don't like the "stretched to the max Tee's". The collection of plants looked great, look forward to seeing what you do with them.
Great video and interesting plants. It looks like the supplier of the succulents is sold out on 75% of the plants they carry. I hope that’s only temporary! You’ve got me motivated!
I'm so sorry for your loss and I hope you guys are doing okay ❤️ Savored every bit of this succulent video...would be interested to learn more about how you clean out your pots. Do you use your bleach and water solution on all your pots and containers?
So glad your in OR! I've been struggling to keep my succulents alive because of our weather. I live up towards Portland OR, I think we get even less sun than Eastern Oregon.
I love the MoonGlow! I totally want to go buy that one right now! Thank you for sharing! Will need to head over to Leaf and Clay to make some purchases soon!
Just started watching a few weeks ago and must say you're such an inspiration. I was wondering if you cultivate the soil before planting. I planted some hydrangeas that didn't do well this year. I'm thinking it's the soil. So I bought 2 quart size cityline Berlin hydrangeas from proven winners website that I'm gonna plant tomorrow. But I'm gonna till the soil and add some good soil. Thanks!
I feel like you're the Rachael Ray of the garden 😄 You have my favorite tutorials, and always get right to the point. I love your videos and the inspiration you give me!
TheMrsBeagle I thought the same thing! I think she looks a little like Rachel Ray but I think Laura is much prettier lol! I also like her voice more 😳
This is one of my favorite videos of Laura. She's letting her hair down, so to speak. Funny, cute, and engaging. I adore rosettes too!
Laura & Aaron, I'm so very sorry about Dexter! He truly was such a beautiful, sweet soul. I loved watching him in all the videos. RIP Dexter! Much love to you both!!
Linda Toolin that's a really good idea!
So sorry about Dexter:( Did y'all bury him on the property? My pets of the past are buried on my property. I have beautiful flowers planted on their graves.
My appreciation for succulents is growing every time you post a video! 🍃🌱😊

You give such a professional presentation. Refreshing after some others on UA-cam that are delivered in an unnatural staccato.
Yah! Thank you so much for naming the succulents. I have a few but don't know their names. At last I know the name of some of them by watching your videos. I have a Euphorbia Moonstone which I repotted today. Great video. Watching from the UK🇬🇧

I am totally obsessed with your videos. I especially love the garden tours!!!
