Everyone was telling me buy Bitcoin… buy Ethereum… so I waited, patiently, for my setup…. and as soon as I entered - IT DROPPED. HARDDDDDDDDD.

As someone who's been in crypto since 2012, I've watched the market everyday since.. eth & all other alt coins are LAGGING INDICATORS.. if you want to trade it should be BTC.
Also, the markets are so unpredictable that it isn't worth trying to learn to trade it..

I mean, the SPY takes the same role as BTC in crypto. Both represent the “market”. Alts & Majors in crypto react to BTC the same way all stocks react to the SPY. The only difference is that relative strength & relative weakness are far more forgiving in traditional markets. If an Alt is showing weakness despite BTC moving upwards then when BTC drops that Alt is going to FLY down. That simply doesnt happen as dramatically in traditional markets.
@mrtrikxx they are very much different in their markets. BTC is one blockchain and the spy is a bunch of stocks in one. The SPY moves because the individual stocks it holds are moving, btc moves because people are buying and using it. Btc doesn't react to anything but itself.

If you know you can't trade yourself then just stop and do copytrade otherwise you'll end up donating all your money to the market. This will just be my advice
Listen look for a coin that suites YOUR strategy you need to have rules and test out systems it takes time becoming profitable you dont trade shit coins for making money but to find out if they work with ur strategy use a system stay patient and keep trading no matter how much loss and trust me you will become profitable.

I trade without a SL. I scalp .1 to 3 minutes. If it reverse I cut it immediately manually. Never had a problem. And i also make sure im risking correctly.
I never swing trade and leave trades open overnight or weekends. Im in and out. Easy profit😊

Crypto futures are a gamble. If I understood your strategy correctly, the absolute volatile mess that is crypto is the exact opposite of ideal for this particular strategy.

Every trader can relate to holding something that is crashing and doing it with no stop loss...I could feel your pain in this video!
Crypto + futures + high leverage = Russian roulette. I've been in similar rides and ended up giving up futures on cripto. The best thing with crypto is to trade it on spot and trying to always have liquidity in order to take advantage of insane opportunities "when the world panics", that also means being willing to religiously take profits at key levels of resistance.

Psychologically, it is harder to close a draw down. That's why it's better to close reds earlier or have a set SL.

Crypto is a different beast, my friend! It can stress you out if not experienced! Price will always go up. Stay away from leverage trading. Exchanges will get their money. Why I am moving to oil futures!

Thanks for posting this, we have all tried to hold onto a losing trade. I had exactly the same experience last summer, three weeks of sweating it out when I was short on EURUSD while it made new highs. Finally recovered enough that I did not blow the account. Very stressful experience.
This is 99% of people's first year (or 2) in crypto! I think S&R and RSI divergences are generally respected more than trendlines (in crypto) to catch entries and some volatility. There are a lot of fakeouts either way for market makers to get liquidity. The markets are extremely emotionally unstable - on leverage, so moves whiplash like crazy. It's cool seeing you get involved though great job Tori!

forget about those trend lines, crypto you have to trade support and resistance and analyze price action level by level
Double bottoms and double tops are a magnet for price. They are liquidity pools. You were buying with a liquidity pool right below you. Look how hard it attacked it. Also the trading range is not fully balanced. You still have more imbalanced price section below your entry. Basic ICT concepts. Everyone can benefit from learning some basic ICT. You can apply it literally any strategy. Avoid a lot of bad entries.
this also happened to me after i scalped crypto(sticking to forex)
I can trade BTC but I have an on-going curse with ETH... A lot of crypto alts aren't liquid enough and too easy to manipulate... I stay away from all but BTC. Thanks for keeping it real.
You were lucky, Crypto is about macro news, wallet transfers, geopolitics. If you entered in August you would've lost double of it on Black Monday.

Singapore legendary investor Adam Khoo once said that crypto is a casino not an investment, not his cup of tea anytime anywhere. You have to be super lucky to survive and strive. Better stick to platinum, Tori, that’s your baby.
I know it sounds CRAZY , but this is the BEAUTY of trading with big capital, if you enter a trade with good and wise amount of quantity of your account , THERE WILL BE NO WAY that the market go in opposite direction of your trade forever , so you can get chance of BreakEven or some good profits, without blowing your Acc , Thanks for sharing this Tori

What a roller coaster!!! Kudos, you tried it.
It’s been a heck of a ride in crypto the past year or so and there’s a ton of more mainstream adoption than before, but my suggestion is stay away from longing ALTs unless you’re ready to hold a loss for months or years. BTC leads and right now it’s stuck forming a handle until monetary stimulus sets us off, so expect ALTs to bleed or chop until then. If you’re trading crypto prior, small positions bought on dips will probably treat you better than playing breakouts regardless of your style. Hope your next crypto attempt is more successful.
Key levels and particular tools. The fib retracement and fixed volume range profile and the 200 MA. If you're patient you will catch a bottom you can ride for months. 3 Day - 5 Day RSI oversold is a good setup I use, then drop down for confluence and the setup. Careful of the liquidity grabs and fake outs. Very volatile coming into election season. Good move dealing directly with crypto . Much more rewarding. And you may wanna check out Solana as well. (not financial advice) ..

Here's some free advice that I have learned in the crypto market specifically...

Impulse moves or candles... always get filled.

Those impulse moves or like green candles. Are what we have confirmed to be. ETH Whale groups we jump in and get everyone to ride from their.. "New Floor point" they ride it up to a certain target then they sell off and makes everyone go into a panic and everyone starts selling.

Afterwards. This creates a new floor for the ETH which is ussually a little bit higher then the previous major all time FLOORR (FLOOR = All time low. )

Reminder: keep trading insanely simple. All investors want to do is influence, inspire fear, inspire green, buy low as possible and sell at a target their group agrees on.

Trend line trading doesn't really shine in the Crypto market too much.

Price, action, and price reading and trading works best.

The market.. is controlled by whales. Not stable but once your understand what's going on.

Good stuff! The good thing about this is that you're able to still move forward from it! A lot of people wouldn't and it's how a reaction to big losses like that can make a champion or breaks one. This is the transparency people need. That's how you know it's real.

I agree, the role of advisors can only be overlooked, but not denied. Man, that drawdown was rough. The transparency is refreshing though. If this happened to me I'd probably lose 20 lbs that summer. I'm glad it worked out, but man, the leverage on futures ALWAYS has me shook. I will never move my stop on futures. Thanks for showing, a reminder to stay vigilant!

Well done tori, that was brave. I only trade crypto and have only traded crypto and the swings are insane. I find the most profitable Strategy for swing trading in crypto is support resistance trading as there's a lot of fake outs on trend base Strategies. Combining the 2 is the most powerful strategy at the point of confluence.
You need to keep with it because the benefits are insane and you're a good enough traders to excel. You just need a bit of time in the game because all the emotion is amplified and it takes a while to dampen that down.

That’s wild. I did a similar trade on solana meme coin last week and went down 30%. I dcaed and luckily we moved up to a point where i was break even and i exited the trade with a mere $5 loss. Had i held on it would have been 90% down by now 😂
Most traders won't sell at their stop loss. They will let the loss increase so much and panic and get out with a huge loss and repeat the pattern. Only an experienced trader will know to get out after stop loss was hit, safety line was broken and understand price will come back and hop back on board long, and ride it till safety line crossed, or break even has been reached. Nice job, other than letting the loss increase. Takes thousands of trades to understand and get a feel for price action.
Emotions and crypto are not worthy of your trust! Stick with what you know, and you will stay with success!

I’ve been making a lot of losses trying to make profit trading. I thought trading on a demo account is just like trading the real market. Can anyone help me out or at least advise me on what to do?
I will advice you should stop trading on your own if you keep losing.
If you can, then get a professional to trade for you I think that way your assets are more secure.

What was the weekly/monthly long-term trend? I assume a long bias. You correctly identified the fair value line @ 3520 the upside rotation was on the 24th that was starting accumulation level of market makers. Selling at profit at the fair value would have been wise when it rotates. Above FV the market makers begin to distribute their accumulations to dumb money. A second rotation (i.e. double bottom) long entry at Jul 8 to FV would have made even more money.
This is the first promotional training video I have seen where a trader actually shows the risk involved in trading and admits that even a Proffesional can have a bad trade.
Thank you Tori for showing us that one cannot trade emotionally and on ones hopes and dreams.
Have rules and perimeters in place and if one cannot keep emotions out of their trading, then one probably should not be a trader.
To be honest, this is why I haven't started trading.
I don't need that emotional roller coaster in my life.

you should trade perpetuals on an exchange like bybit
I find it helps with crypto to know price movements are generally going to go where the majority of stop losses are placed , that’s a big reason why it has violent short spikes,,(liquidity sweeping) crypto algorithms love to chase the liquidity
Haha welcome to crypto. Next time you review the ETH chart, consider adding the 200 EMA. You'll notice that the price faced strong rejection at the 200 EMA right around the point where you entered your trade. Thank you for sharing your trade.

you shoud have asked for some advice, crypto this period doesn't work with trend lines but with general market rules and economy in wich you have a lot of distruptions on your trading set ups, my prediction is ethereum will stuck there for the next six months with the highest high at 3800, unless something very aggresive happens, lets say a china invasion in Taiwan or another strong geopolitical move
