as a genuine new player with around 200 hours, i can assure you that i also go from being god awful to one tapping for one round out of nowhere, its weird as hell but its very real
Bruh, I once literally became s1mple and the faceit lvl 10 players were 10, like we were 20 friends and played casual, and tte enemy team got destroyed by me in that match. And the next random casual match, I couldn't even aim properly 🤡🤡
most impressive thing to me is the input about how one could do better in certain situations and why a specific way of playing or approaching a situation (like you did in 2015) is prolly not the right way

I started playing cs go back in 2016-7 and I remember myself being basically a brain dead player stuck in silver then I slowly moved up in ranks until 2018-9 I hit global and then I started faceit I remember 2019 i was lv3-4 and by the time 2021 came I was lv7-8 and now 2023 I am officially lv 10 (2320+/-2450) elo. Holy shit how long it takes to grind.
I have around 5000 hours in the game.

I just mistakenly watched this again and found my comment lol. Came back to say the same thing i remember doing a lot of the same stuff because i was noob in 2015 but once i started playing i used to just grind dust2 only. the old spots like suicide, long short and b window door and site felt so different compared to now. i like that they update it but sometimes i miss the old version. it was a lot of fun first starting out on it and having my best friend at the time teach me how to play over discord calls. we even used to get a lot of teammates to play with but you know how it goes when youre growing up. my pc had broke and i couldn’t play anymore and my family couldn’t afford a new one, i was actually gifted the other one as it was. so i didn’t get a new one again until around 2020. i didn’t even really get this newer gaming pc to play games at all i was just building a studio in my room. and at this point me and those guys don’t talk much because we all grow up and get to that money so even in 2020 then i didn’t play much. sometimes i still talk to my bro that taught me and he still plays. i just haven’t asked to play tbh. i actually just got back into it more so in 2023. we even did that exact smoke boost back in 2015-2016 but for some reason ours worked. this dude was LEM when we started playing but had been higher at some point before he was my age too just had been into pc gaming long before i had. in a way you remind me a lot of him especially your guys adhd and cracked cs skills 😅😂
