What type of crutch tips are you using? I'm looking for something a bit better and rugged for trail use.

Do the crutches hurt your back and hips as much as when you wore the iWalk with your BKA? I've been on the iWalk for 4 1/2 months waiting for my incision to heal (finally, I've started getting fitted for a leg. I'm in a liner right now waiting to hear from insurance about what they will allow). I use a walker with the iWalk around the house because my back and hips are so far out of whack from it. My chiro won't adjust me til I have a regular gait with a leg. In the meantime I'm on any pain killer I can find that the doc doesn't consider addictive (no Norco or Oxy) and I wimper a lot. Lol. I've never tried the low crutches like you use. It would be hard using them with my job doing auto upholstery in my shop, but if I don't get this pain stopped soon I won't be working at all.
