All of this trendy stuff that young parents think their baby needs is just a money making thing. I started massaging my son the day we got home from hospital. It is VITALLY important you do this at least 3 times weekly. Preferably after bath, on the floor, with good quality oil. Babies LOVE massage. Don't forget head. Gentle fingertips only. Enjoy.
@@jenajackson1933just from briefly and recently looking into baby massages, i think it helps with bonding with baby, their brain development as it continues to make connections with the body, and helps move things along in their gut. I'm sure there's other benefits.

This video is gorgeous. What a beautiful baby.I wish this was available 30 years ago when I had my daughter. It was a terrible time for me. Needless to say she's an only child.
I wish this were available 59 years ago. My first born a beautiful little girl suffered so much and her Mom suffered with her. So much gases and she couldn’t eliminate. The poor thing used to cry night and day to the point that she repudiated the bottle vomiting everything she would take. It was horrible for both of us. Ohhh I’m happy that mothers and babies don’t have to live through this experience anymore.
@@Tezah89having raised seven children with my youngest being 17, I would highly recommend bringing another in earlier, like when your daughter is 11-13. By 17 they are basically independent: driving, working, school, bf/gf. The bonding opportunity would be brief and maybe gone by then. Just my 2¢
@@dianapalmon5631 I'm 33, and my youngest is ten. I will be 42 when he turns 18, so I want to adopt a 12-13 year old girl so she will be in middle school and he will be in high school. all of us need that someone takes the all of him and the time to understand what we deeply need, even if we're not able to tell...this baby will may be compassionate later...and if his parents do this with the simple instinct of be here to understand him, he'll be empathetic...a good human being
This beautiful baby is enjoying the attention and conversation. Not realizing on the exercises. If he gets a feeding after this, he will take a nice long nap. That’s what my kids did 39 and 37 years ago.
My daughter had colic for the first 4 months and the doctor was useless. He just kept wanting to give her sedatives. I refused and tried a baby massage class, but she didn’t show me these moves. She just wanted me to knead my daughter’s stomach which caused her to scream louder and I believe it caused more pain. I wish I would have had these videos when I had all of my babies. I will try if I’m blessed with grandchildren💕
Having babies is so different from when we were young. I come from the generation that advised letting the baby cry herself to sleep, that picking her up would "spoil" her. It makes me so sad to think about both my baby and myself crying because I was trying to follow instructions.
@blueeyes8553 - My son had colic and my situation was similar to yours with not having any useful help. Those were some hard times! I know my baby’s stomach issues came from feeding him formula😢 I tried everything I knew to breastfeed him, but I wasn’t producing anything past the colostrum😔I believe that if I would’ve been offered classes or time with a lactation consultant, maybe I would’ve had a better chance at succeeding. Two days after my son’s birth they put him in my arms and discharged us. I just turned 19 two months earlier and bringing him home was the happiest but also the scariest day of our life together. We got through those long nights of screaming and tears, and now I’m a grandmother of four beautiful girls! I’m glad that there is help available to women and new mothers today so my g’daughters will have it if they need it❤
@@AngelinaX23 crying to sleep has its own benefits. Unless the baby starts building emotional sensitivity. Ask me or an expert or research I'll tell u more if u need
Well don’t beat yourself up because you probably did the right thing. Most of the time it is best to leave a crying baby if the baby is just wanting to be held because the baby will be teaching you instead of you teaching the baby. There are different kinds of cries, especially if they are in pain. I’m sure you would have picked up on the difference. Anyways that is just called Toughlove but it is very important for a child and they will soon learn and adjust. Give yourself a pat on the back!☺️
These exercises are so important. I was born with a barely mobile neck, my mum got so good at exercising my neck safely that the nurse asked her to show some less experienced nurses how to do it for future babies. I'm not a dad yet but it's also adorable seeing babies like this little feller!
I wish that we had known these things 45 years ago when my son was a baby. Perhaps he would not have had such a colicky several months, and i might have felt like a better mom. The woman who is teaching is wonderful, and the baby is just so cute !!
I fell in love with this little guy. Am I crazy for re-watching it now and again? I've never seen such a wise little fellow, so captivating. Thank God he is loved ❤
What a cutie. When my son was younger he's now 24 when he was born he was born with bilateral club feet and we did stretches like this. But we still wound up casting him from hip to toe over a span of three years no surgeries and until this day now his feet are doing fine

I had no clue about this, and about so many things when I had my babies who are now all fathers. This is amazing. There was no internet, no-one to talk with (aunt never had children, Mom-in-law probably had no clue herself, and I didn't speak good French yet and no-one spoke English here). I'm learning a lot of things through my D-in-law's and grandchildren now. Even correcting my educational knowledge through one of my grandson's tantrums. He's 2 and a half. I remark that whatever I had learnt was through adults who learnt their knowledge from their elders who didn't necessarily know what was right. I am able to correct my own convictions when I don't feel I am in harmony with them and now I manage my grandson's tantrums with a little touch of Margaret Thatcher but I keep the tenderness too in the background. I am not his enemy and refuse to be a tyrant like was the way in my own childhood. Actually I don't give him too much attention and ask him calmly what is the matter, I understand you sweetheart, it is difficult to handle all these emotions of anger and frustration. But it is forbidden to hit or throw things at grandma. He ran into the room the other day, gave a kiss on my knee 😳🤣 then ran away again screaming and acting like a furious little dare devil 🤣🤣🤣
I’m 49. I clicked on this because babies are precious. I’m still watching because I think the little stretches might help me. I have fibromyalgia and I’m in a lot of pain atm. Update: it helped. Thank you.

Yes. A wonderful trainer and this baby is perfectly responsive. As I watched this lovely, relaxed baby, I wished I had been taught these skills by my Lamaze trainer.. amazing, blissful and wonderful ...! Coaching the mum was a special artful time as well...
Wow. 😮 I had no idea how much really went into teaching babies basic necessities. I knew some stuff about the stretching but I didn't know that we could train babies to eat and drink using these techniques. Thank you for sharing this with us!

This is so amazing and so wonderful to see him enjoying each exercise.. It’s just incredible, touch is so important and I still love it to this day. It was really good to see his reactions too, almost knowing what to do and how it should feel. His face and mouth He wasn’t so sure about, but with Mum at the helm it will soon, as comfortable as His body.. Beautiful lil treasure, you must be so in awe Mum 🙏❤️🙏
This was both SUPER interesting and educational to watch. What a sweet little blessing he is. Such a beautiful baby. This is such wonderful exercises to do with newborns. I am 52 and I naturally learned to raise my daughter's knees upwards to help her pass gas and get the poops moving. She's now 32 and has her own little boy. I taught her to do this with my grandson when he was an infant, especially if he felt constipated. It really works.. I self taught myself to do this technique when I had my daughter. ~ Thank you for sharing.
How nice of you to show these exercises. I'd have liked to know about these when my babies were born more than 20+ yrs ago. Tips learned for when we may have grandkids. Thanks for sharing. 😊
What a cutie! After having 2 babies of my own, it’s fascinating to me that most newborns have a similar look no matter their genetics. There’s just certain movements and mannerisms that I’ve seen other newborns do that remind me so much of my girls from those early days. They grow up too fast!
THIS IS WONDERFUL!! I WISH THEY HAD THIS INFORMATION & VIDEO BACK WHEN MY DAUGHTER WAS BORN IN 1980... AT THE VERY MOST, SHE SLEPT 4 HOURS A DAY, SCREAMED THE ENTIRE TIME SHE WAS AWAKE, CONSTIPATED @ TIMES, GAS @ TIMES, NOTHING CONSISTENT EXCEPT FOR THE ENDLESS SCREAMING, YOU COULD TELL SHE WAS IN PAIN, AS SHE WOULD BRING HER KNEES UP TO HER CHEST... AFTER EXPLAINING ALL OF THIS TO HER PEDIATRICIAN, HE ASKED ME ONE QUESTION, ONE QUESTION ONLY... Q-- "IS SHE FUSSY IN THE EVENING??" A-- "YES, FUSSY ALL THE TIME".. THEN HE SAYS, "WELL THATS THE PROBLEM RIGHT THERE, YOU NEED A NANNY"... I WAS SPEECHLESS!!! I SAID NOTHING, I DIDNT KNOW WHAT TO SAY... THE 1ST 11 MONTHS WAS GRUELING FOR BOTH OF US, ONCE I TOOK HER OFF FORMULA I HAD A WHOLE DIFFERENT BABY... SHE HAS ALLERGIES TO DAIRY PRODUCTS...

@Kelly Kelly

I haven't worked as a registered nurse in 1.5yrs. This video makes me feel it is possible again. I love the intention you're bringing to your work. Gaining consent from your clients. Same level as our little teachers. Well done thank you! (This baby is also sooooo beautiful!)
I needed someone like this so badly when my son was born 31 years ago, but it just wasn’t common and even less common where I lived. Woman having babies today are very fortunate to have so much help available to them if they need/want it, along with the ability to have wonderful digital memories of the pregnancy/birth journey. ❤
This is something new to me. I have one son and he's 40 so it's been a very long time since he was this size. It's very interesting to see though and I like this idea of the stretching exercises. It surely must help his overall health and well being. This lady is doing such a good job. She's calm and speaks in a calm fashion. This precious little one is absolutely adorable and so calm. You can tell he likes the stretches and is completely comfortable in her lap. God bless this sweetie.

Just think about being balled up in a sack of water for 40 weeks!! You know that feels good to stretch out like that. I think my babies tried to do that while they were still inside of me though😂😂! I’m 5’10 and they had more space than some👍. Beautiful baby🥰❤️🥰 God is so good to us🙌🙏🙌
AWE OH MY GOODNESS THIS BABY BOY IS SO PRECIOUS.
Thank you for showing us these great stretches and exercises for newborns.
May the LORD Jesus bless, protect, heal, and prosper this baby boy and his family all his life. Shalom
I started massaging my son the day we got home from hospital. It is VITALLY important you do this at least 3 times weekly. Preferably after bath, on the floor, with good quality oil. Babies LOVE massage. Don't forget head. Gentle fingertips only. Enjoy.
Unreal baby. Such a good baby
I’m just curious as to why it’s VITALLY important to do? I’m a new mom to a 4 month old and none of the nurses or doctors told me anything about this.
@@jenajackson1933just from briefly and recently looking into baby massages, i think it helps with bonding with baby, their brain development as it continues to make connections with the body, and helps move things along in their gut. I'm sure there's other benefits.
@@jenajackson1933right!? 😂 Pretty sure it isn't vital. I have a lot of mom friends and none of them do this. I'm sure it's a great thing to do of course but I promise it's not vital
I ve had 3 kids. No its not Vital infact it's Dangerous if you are not trained to understand a babies anatomy. Don't encourage people, you are not a physician.
I enjoyed watching this! It looks like he is enjoying his exercise so much because he is cooperating with what the woman does to him! Good job cute little boy you will grow up to be physicality fit! 🥰
Absolutely beautiful baby!!!
This video is gorgeous. What a beautiful baby.I wish this was available 30 years ago when I had my daughter. It was a terrible time for me. Needless to say she's an only child.
Aww, I’m so sorry!! I’m not a fan of pregnancy so I want to adopt a teenage girl when my youngest is about 17 and my oldest will be 25 🧡
I wish this were available 59 years ago.
I think adolescence is a tough time, and I would love to be able to help and give a child a chance to grow up within a stable family.
@acflarios1
My daughter was exactly the same, it was a nightmare.
That is the mellowest baby I’ve ever seen!
Lady, you have magic hands and a calm demeanor, perfect for your work. I've never seen a baby respond so easily...he's enjoying every move! 💜
He seems like a very calm baby. So sweet.
He is absolutely adorable!!!
How he responded to mom’s touch in the last two seconds!!! So sweet!
I had my child when I was 16 years old I wasn't ready to have children and I wasn't thrilled about it but I took good care of him but now that I'm 66 years old I think back and I wish I could do it over again I would have so much more fun now that I'm more mature with the baby because I love watching baby videos and this baby is so cute and I didn't know about how to help babies with their gas like this nurse is showing the mother I wish I would have known that when I had my child❤❤❤❤❤
I didn't know either and I was 35 when I had my baby in 1995.
This makes me want a baby!! This baby is just so so beautiful and adorable!! He is going to be a stud!!
um, whoa
Way too early for stud smh
@@noahzero9380 What don’t you understand about “He is g-o-I-n-g to be a stud one day” meaning, later in life. Are you really jealous of a freaking baby.
all of us need that someone takes the all of him and the time to understand what we deeply need, even if we're not able to tell...this baby will may be compassionate later...and if his parents do this with the simple instinct of be here to understand him, he'll be empathetic...a good human being
Look at him. He's loving life. One hundred thumbs up
This beautiful baby is enjoying the attention and conversation.
Try to make tea on anis seeds for colic. Mum drinks it and baby gets it when breastfeeding. Cures gases and flatulence in the baby.
The baby so calm and smooth. Love this
I wish that we had known these things 45 years ago when my son
was a baby.
I don't blame ya. He's such a cute, calm baby and the nurse/coach's voice is very soothing 😌
It really helps with colic! It changed our lives!! Nothing worse than having baby you can't comfort.
It's heartbreaking to have your baby wailing and nothing helps.
Na kolkę pomoże też codzienne kładzenie dziecka na brzuszku, to świetna gimnastyka, nawet kilka razy dziennie, byle nie tuż po karmieniu.

Wow what an amazing woman and the most relaxed and calm baby EVER!👍😀❤️

Omg this baby is so freakin cute!! I wish I'd known about these particular stretches when my daughter was a new born.
I’m 49. I clicked on this because babies are precious. I’m still watching because I think the little stretches might help me. I have fibromyalgia and I’m in a lot of pain atm.

After having 2 babies of my own, it’s fascinating to me that most newborns have a similar look no matter their genetics. There’s just certain movements and mannerisms that I’ve seen other newborns do that remind me so much of my girls from those early days. They grow up too fast!

AFTER EXPLAINING ALL OF THIS TO HER PEDIATRICIAN, HE ASKED ME ONE QUESTION, ONE QUESTION ONLY...
Q-- "IS SHE FUSSY IN THE EVENING??"
A-- "YES, FUSSY ALL THE TIME"..

It’s so wonderful to address the tongue so early. When children have tongue placement problems, it causes speech and phonological issues early in school.
