@@Torchiaband Definitely, I don't know how long you've guys been around but it seems like a lot of the black metal bands including yours that released albums passed 2017-2020 are returning to the old black metal roots with style, sound, even the aesthetics. At least to me it seems that way, there's just too many bands out there that are pretty cookie cutter, overly produced to where they almost sound nu-metalish. I don't know how else to describe it, it's almost as if the newer bands are going back to the old ways to how black metal is suppose to sound, that even goes for the NWOHM bands that are making a huge come back with that old school sound and that's what I'm feeling with your band.
@@Magilla.Guerrilla We are all old-school metalheads and it's safe to say that most of our influences are from past decades. We've always wanted to combine the melody and songwriting of traditional heavy metal with all of our favorite forms of extreme metal: thrash, death, black... I feel this is what all those bands in Gothenburg did 30 years ago. But of course we are not about nostalgia. We're constantly trying to modernize and expand our sound while staying true to our roots. I think you can clearly hear that development if you listen to all of our three albums. Kinda reminds me of Blaze ya Dead Homie if he actually made Blackened Death Metal and not gangsta /juggalo music. But anyway not saying that as an insult I Dig both juggalo music /horrorcore with some gangsta rap and Blackened Death Metal.
Death metal era Behemoth and Vader for sure! If you listen to our first album, you’ll find it’s very thrash and death influenced, but there are elements even from power metal. Think of At the Gates, Morbid Angel, Kreator, King Diamond. Our newer stuff is getting slightly darker and you can hear more of the black metal influence like Satyricon or Dimmu Borgir.
