Todays vlog will be a special vlog for me personally as i am visiting the place where my hero(my babcia zofia) grew up in Poland. Babcia was born in a town of Wrobel, Piegonisko-Pustkowie, Kalisz, Wielkopolska, Poland. She was born to a family of very humble farmers who lived out in the country of central Poland. During my visit i drove from Kalisz to Piegonisko-Pustkowie to see the family house, the farm that the family used to own and the forest where babcia would go to pick berries with her sisters as children. After that i drove to the town of iwanowice to visit the cemetery there and visit the graves of babcias dad and 2 of her sisters. After that i went to see the church in iwanowice as this is where babcia and her sisters would walk to in order to go to school. This was a very important and meaningful experience for me to visit poland and visit the hometown of my hero and i would recommend anyone to do the same if they have someone they look up to.

Hey Riley, have you confirmed your Polish citizenship?
Unfortunately i cant get it because my family naturalised when they came to Australia. I am eligible for Italian citizenship however so i am getting that as it serves the same purpose :)
