I appreciate you taking your time to try and showcase the mod, myself and the team are always highly appreciative of all the feedback and glad we are able to bring a more enjoyable experience to such an underrated gem. Edit: chopper is always glued due to the helis overall speed however I'll I'll dropping a hotfix for this shortly so its actually using the real speed from the real helicopter its self so if driving a hyper car you will be able to out run the heli.

I have found out that you can't adjust anything in this mod as you cannot make the stock body look bearable, you cannot adjust the tire and wheel size, and you can't adjust the wing.
@theroyalaustralian you can its just your game or exe as the mod doesn't affect those aspects

Loved the original game's pissy graphics though.. Was kinda grittily unique for a racing game

same honestly.
i didn't even mind the handling much as well.
it was different and a bit janky, but the micro drifting, that would give immense boost around corners was cool.
however, other issues, like glitches with shadows, the sudden rotating of the skybox depending upon the location of the map, general bugs, the flawed and confused vinyl and livery system and ngl the weak police, made this game a bit boring for me.
like i love how compared to Prostreet, The Vinyl's move and can be adjusted at a better and smoother speed, they are not laggy, but the fitment is horrible for some.
like when you paint a part red and then put on a body vinyl, you can see where the red color separates the part of the car, .
Other then these issues, the scenery pop in, bad optimization and the extremely bad and racing shadows also plagued the game.
But, in all, i really had a damn good time with this game.
it might be regarded as one of the worst nfs games to ever come out.
but i think it is a game, where the positives are just overshadowed by the negatives.
Once again the day is saved by modders
I believe the notion that UC was made in just 6 months is incorrect. None of BB's games had such a cruely short development cycle (which I think is almost physically impossible for a modern game anyway), while the current main entry was developed and then updated, the next game was already being worked on by a different team inside the studio.
Furthermore, UC actually had the longest development cycle of all their games, as it began being conceptualized much earlier, and it was meant to be their biggest game at the time. Sadly, this did not transpire because it rapidly fell into development hell, and to make matters worse, some important figures at BB even died before it came out, further complicating its already dire situation. It absolutely needed more time in the oven, which the EA of the time never allowed, but how much better would the game actually turn out after such a troubled development is questionable.
At the very least its storyline could have probably been fully fleshed out and finished, but the actual game mechanics and physics? Who knows. Its foundation was too shaky to build something solid off of it and wasn't going to work out without serious rethinking.
Ngl, when the busted cutscene came up, I was also thinking about the wasted donut. I felt a little hungry thinking about it.
But the problem with this game itself its was because i hear that 3 teams they work on 3 games and they need to split to make all 3 games in just 1 year they start to make the game undercover in 2007 and they was under pressure a lot i wish some moders people to have the game code itself to ask BlackBox to give them the code to fixed the game its just too much to ask them because i hear lots of og players want to replay the old games lets recognize the old games even they are broken they have story plot and great music right ?
EA did a massive brain move and split the teams into 3 developing, carbon, pro street and undercover

@@Jack-Eugen I was saying in dove's blackbox video that if they had proper time and less pressure. We would have gotten timeless masterpieces

I love Undercover and speacially the "Gold Hours", when everything is cover with orange light. I love that! These both NFS Undercover and Pro street are my fav parts. We need remake of them!!

Bruh playing base game undercover and i gotta say these gotta be the hardest ai i ever raced against.
I got a high end pc running over 1k fps and dear god the rubberbanding is so bad that i would be 5 seconds ahead and they come out of nowhere even with racing-pro parts they're still having me sweat.

Once there’s a gigantic bigger leak and it includes the code of NFS undercover, that’s when these guys can get their grubby hands on it again I don’t blame black box for making this game so bad it was just lack of time

4:23 well the wish for Nazca C2 is fulfilled as it's added in Reformed 7.63 + this mod has added MW'ish handling model.
I will be honest, the game actually looks worse without the mexican color grading.
Maybe just a bit of bloom reduction, but keeping the piss filter+ lens flare would be better.

Help, my game Need for Speed Undercover on the EA App isn't launching for some reason, I love this game and I want to play it with mods to improve this game so the issues won't be apparent.
Im currently playing the 360 version, and i wish these fixes were available there😂
This video was uploaded over a year ago and I only found out about this now. Now I am curious as to how far it has come along since...
It had a few more Updates from then i think
They had a small deadline and wasted it on advertising Hot Wheels cars that had a code to get you the car in game 😂😂😂😂
I like everything in this mod except for two things:
1. The new camera has a weird FOV, it's like you're playing early Burnout games. Even the vanilla camera was better and somehow immersive.
2. The cops are sometimes still impossible to shake off. I don't know why improvement mods make them much harder and unbalanced than before.
A thing one of the modders told me was they had quite a bit of mentions before how it was easy to lose the cops so thats why they are tougher in here

Getting rid of the original visual vibe is a deal breaker for me. It wasnt perfect, but it was so atmospheric. Mod makes it look sterile.

I'd say this looks soulless (at least visually) but considering how OG Undercover looks I am not sure which is worse

At least OG resembled a game from it's time, no matter how bad the piss filters and other things were. This makes it look like the millionth vaguely realistic racing game, which is an abominable idea
@@marx4538 despite that their idea of realism is to use piss filter everywhere in hte OG, its literally the same thing but done better with the new graphics plus its a lot more colorful.

I really love the Reformed mod too! I play the latest version.
But does anybody else has the problem, the game is crashing everytime, I try to start the mission "TRANSPORTER".
Everything else is running very well. No crashes. No problems. Just "Transporter".
I have tried out some things. But nothing seems to help here.

well from what i know on many old nfs ea doesnt have all the licenses to remake the games so is kinda gg :((
