I want to learn this becuase I have gathered so much background and knowledge from healthcare sectors thru my career so far. My education is specialist nurse in prehospital care, but I have also worked as a manager and intrahospital as a nurse for many years. There are so many ideas that will both be profitible for people as for my wallet. I just need to get my head around how to create it without spending too much time learn coding. So.. Hi Doc - very much enjoying the tutorial so far I'm looking just to get a good app buildier that i can use at work - i have very specific and definite needs. Question up front: with flutter flow, can i build an app that will process Speech (of the user) into text? The whole functionality i'm looking for is : user speech into the app - to text - text then goes to AI - gets grammar and phrase correction - returns to the user with text.
great question! it is possible to use FlutterFlow but you would need additional platforms like buildship (buildship.com/) for that type of functionality you mentioned

hey thanks for being here! It really depends on the main function of the app and then looking for a tutorial or template to start with. For example- if this is a booking app will it allow you to book flights from other websites? Is it only giving you deals on different flights? It is an app for you to all your flight details from other places of data?

Hey great question! Tell me more about this- you want someone to purchase a subscription to your app but the couple is given access to the app?
It might be possible but you would need outline the exact functionality the main user that is paying for the app is given to the 2nd user. For example it could be similar to an admin account with a editor account.

Hey great question! In general you want production mode but demos I use test mode.
In general I recommend Production mode if you're using this for your app you plan to scale.
If you're learning and doing this for a demo project only test mode is fine.
There is a new way I recommend for setting up Firebase found in the 2024 video
But in general you can switch the rules later by the following directions found in stack overflow.

You use a few different platforms but I would use FlutterFlow but you'll need options with systems for the video player itself and a few other factors.
I would look into www.daily.co/ and the documentation to start with.

glad you like the content! That depends if you're just trying to create a zoom like app for one person. For that yes you could use something like www.daily.co/ to create an experience like that.
If you're trying to something where you can create a platform like zoom and onboard thousands of people this wouldn't be ideal.

Great question. I outlined it in the resource guide but I might make a stand alone video about it in the future. You go to collection section of the platform (which is building the backend) and made it from there.
I believe in the video I was highlighting you can do that from flutterflow or firebase.

There are a lot of factors but yes it is possible with other integrations for banking. This also depends if your country allows certain platforms or transaction types but in general, this is possible.

I'm wondering where you would store audio files that the app can stream and deliver to the user (like spotify) not sure how you would structure it if you want things to be in categories and then within each category there are several tracks

glad you liked the video! I would prob go with Firebase or supabase. There are pros/cons for both but Firebase is under Google so the reliability is there.
Yes it can be transferred but there are some considerations with data transfer as well.

How did you create that log in page for the wine app? Where it was one page but switched from log in to sign up? Also is there a way i can also use a template like the "Cat app" but be able to search for one that is most similar to what i'm wanting? Thankss:)
Hey great question! You can find similar pages in the templates section. Since doing the tutorial last year some options have changed but the option to switch from log in to sign up you can find that in the flow section.

Hey great question! Two solutions. First, if you can't find Service Account User you have to do the following-
Search for- Filter account user
scroll down and find- **Service Account User**
Add- **Cloud Function Admin**
Also there is a new update with FlutterFlow for Firebase Setup where you do not need to go into Google Cloud Platform to update permissions. Here is the documentation on the update- Create a new project with a Firebase setup

I don't know but I just googled a few things and I would prob first look at the Apple Healthkit documentation as a start. developer.apple.com/documentation/healthkit
I don't really know much about what Apple allows you to do with their SDKs but once you find out what they allow for their developers, then I would go from there.

The african region is there for the firestore base
when i go to copy the code for the app, i see that flutterflow has its own packages. does it provide the source code for that? or, if you stop your ff subscription, can you still use the code for the app and make changes to the code in an IDE? basically, do you need to have the flutterflow subscription after you download the code?
Great in general no. But to make updates you can either make changes in the code (flutter) or you would need to get the subscription again.
So depends if you're proficient in coding in flutter, goals etc.

I mainly build no code app using platforms that have cloud functionality so any basic mid laptop would work honestly.
I prefer Mac but that's because I like everything streamlined.
Right now I'm still using a 2015 Mac Book Pro maxed out for 99% of my work.

My idea is a bit more complex ... I need users to be able to connect to their credit card points and so on. Is that something I can build with flutterflow ? But... you can't sell the apps you make on FF. Right?

This really depends on the exact action you're asking you're users to do. Are you asking them to make a payment to you? If so yes you could do this with stripe for example but if you want to connect banking information you'll need to know how to use APIs and use things like plaid.com/
Two answer your second question- are you asking if you can sell a template or like a clone of the app you made yourself on FlutterFlow.
If that's the question, yes you can on the FlutterFlow marketplace but I would review the process and the requirements before selling.

Great question! The speeds will vary but finding the closet region for cloud to where your main customer are is the most important for the speed of the application.

Great question! You can create them in FlutterFlow and they automatically are pushed to Firestore.
Some people prefer to work in firebase and have it sync with FF but I try to avoid it.

Great question! For your firebase ID you can only have the following as an option-
firebase project ID requirements: 💥Must be between 6 and 30 characters long. 💥Just lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens are permitted.
I would check your current ID. Did you follow those instructions?
