You shouldn't use SS scouring pads on that. Soap, water, maybe some backing powder or Barkeeper's Friend.

You shouldn’t need butter & oil to stop sticking…do the water test! No beads wait for the amoeba to run around the pan. Use a nylon scrubbie.
