I've been soothed by scratchy/wispy sounds since I was at least 10 years old. I was incredibly pleased to find a video like this as soon as I tried searching for it here. Great setup, awesome sound quality. Combination of filing and buffing is just perfect. Kudos to you, Jennifer!
Thank you, Lia. I know it isn't a recommended technique but I have very strong nails and keep them relatively short. Also, it creates the best sounds for ASMR, particularly the rapid back and forth. You are very welcome, I am trying to get back into uploading videos, hopefully I'll have another soon. Have you seen my other two nail filing videos?
Not a good example of proper filing; you're sawing back and forth. One direction is best on the ends of the nail; otherwise, you are fraying and weakening the nail end.
Beth Burdick this video is for ASMR purposes. Google the meaning, so really her technique isn't important because it's for inducing ASMR sensations. these sounds the buffer and file make do that.

Beth Burdick You're right, but it doesn't make a whole lot of difference when the nails are kept short.
That's a lie, but okay. (To Beth)
