There are times when having Casper in the real world would be useful. The hope is that he'd unintentionally scare the pants off the atrocious people that we don't like and they'll stop terrorizing the rest of us. :)
man what happened to these classics? i grew up we grew up in houston texas back in the 70'-80's and this was the greatest era ever. we would watch cartoons all day until they went off and then hit the door to play outside with our friends. thats when being a kid was fun and exciting. today the cartoons are about sex, being a thug, violent shit, cursing it's sad man that our era has to expose our kids to this new garbage. seriously it's all about rating and filling their minds with garbage to sell.
I was at a craft show in New Jersey and encountered somebody dressed up like Casper. I did not yell A Ghost or take off like a bat out of hell like they do in the cartoons
Why are most people and animals in these cartoons so afraid of a ghost that just stands there doing nothing? XD Though more importantly is that kid a boy or girl? The eyelashes say girl but the behaviour and clothes would hint more towards boy. Maybe a tomboy? or girl-ish boy? XD
Radicaldanny Most of those people who are afraid are adults. As his theme song lyrics say, “Grownups might look at him with fright, but children all love him so.
@TheMsCavalcante When I first read your comment, I did not understand what Casper the Ghost had to do with learning English. That is why I asked you to clarify. Now that you have done so, everything is above board!
If this was a ghost town, I'd say Casper would fit right in. LOL
aw I remember these old cartoons they always bring joy to my heart from then until now n forever (I'm only 23)
Is that desert Dan based upon Desperate Dan out of The Dandy? That Billy kid also appeared in the episode Boo Scout

I live in Vietnam, and this video is very good and necessary for me to practice listening English, and it's very fun, too.
@aalexmary Casper is my favorite cartoon character of all time. Comic books, too!
It always fascinated me how Casper can be solid and etherial at will.
I love Casper 😍
he sometime s looks like a girl and sounds like one
It's always Billy who ends up being Casper's friend. How cute! Little kids are SO friendly to anybody they meet. X3
@93DOL I think it's the same kid as in Spooking With A Brogue too except his hair is a lighter brown then Billy's and they gave him the irish accent.

Just for fun, I would like to point out that, when Helen Hunt was born, this cartoon was ten years old!

Lol I'm pretty sure if you saw a REAL ghost you would. Besides, as you said, it's a cartoon that's meant to be funny, now chill!
Actually you would have to just stare at one and if it threatens to get you then you run
GIMME THAT DOUGH!!!

If Casper came to the real world, He would definitely scare the pants off of my sister. She would yell A Ghost!
