Yep. When I saw this post I said "Ok, what's this sh...?" They pulled off a classic Ozzy tune (very well) which is very hard to do. You can pull off the guitars on Ozzy songs but it's the singer who can ruin it. I like the way he sung this and the guitars were spot on.
I saw Ozzy in Lexington on February 13, 1982 on the Diary of Madman tour. This was just five weeks before Randy died. His playing was mesmerizing. The guitarist here did a fabulous job. Randy would be proud.
I also saw Ozzy on this tour but unfortunately in April 1982 after Randy died. Jake E Lee, however, did a great job filling Randy's shoes on such short notice. One thing that I will always remember is that Ozzy came out holding a giant gold cross that had a spotlight shining on it and it beamed across the whole auditorium.
I think this is one of the most sonically accurate of all the LLB covers. Incredibly Ozzy-like vocals, and every guitar squeak in its place. Great stuff.
Everytime you guys do a song, it sounds better than the last song you did. I can't give you more than a 100%, but instead of turning it up to 11, you have turned it up to 12. Wished I lived closer to you guys to be able to see you live.
Wow. When it comes to great songs,Vande knows how to pick em. This is freaking awesome. Mike crushed the vocals. Mike is totally awesome. Chris Brown is on fire. I am so impressed with his guitar work. You guys hit another grand slam with this one. I’m gonna skip work tomorrow and listen to this one over and over 😎. Thanks LLB. You guys are the best. Much love to everyone in the band from the state of Texas.
Wow you killed that one. Great job all around, quite the workout for your drummer and lead player. Never would’ve thought you guys would do this one. Awesome job ❤
Holy crap that was awesome. The guitar tone and playing were so spot on. The vocals were excellent. For me this is the best song yet guys. All of you. Well done!!!
Absolutely amazing LLB!! Randy Rhodes would be proud of that performance, and to reiterate another comment, the crowd at you next live show will definitely be expecting “Crazy Train!”
This is a credit to the creativity of LLB. Usual attention to fine detail, and original style. I would LOVE to hear you guys play "No More Tears" next time you do Ozzy. Thanks for the fun you always bring to UA-cam.
Mere words cannot describe the quality of excellence in everything LLB performs. Crazy Train is no exception! Y'all better get a new supply of baseballs because you keep knocking them outta the park!
First off that Les Paul is a Beauty!!! Next is its hard to pull off Ozzy and the Chaotic mess of music he made over the years, BUT all be dang you all just pulled it off SPOT ON!!!! AWESOME vocals, Spot on guitar and all others were spot on as well! You guys are really are special!
RIP Randy Rhoads Great tribute to a young guitarist that died before he could realize his full potential. Well done as always Lets hear some old Black Sabbath... PLZ Matt Hudson Valley, NY
I truly believe there is nothing LLB can't pull off. Fantastic!!
