Having Muntz back for Fiji is massive, he brings a lot of control to their game and accuracy from the tee. Scotland need to get on top early and put them away, the longer Fiji stay in the game the more dangerous they will be I reckon.
With this game taking place outside the Int Window, Hastings/Rowe @10/15 respectively is as expected & good to see Graham start, was in great form @14 before his injuries.
I would not underestimate the Fijian side too much. The Dura knocked over some decent sides this year, and on their day could cause an upset. Unlikely, possibly, but still worth watching for.
On paper, this should be more than enough to see off Fiji by a clear try score, but rugbyisnt played on paper. Looking forward to it, but will a little bit of trepidation
Good video! Personally would prefer: - Matthews over Ashman (Clownsend hang your head) - Williamson over Gilchrist (Jonny Gray over both when back from Bordeaux) - Horne over Price and time to go all in on Dobie over any other - Jordan over Hastings Some are splitting hairs but Clownsend can’t man mange or motivate. Time for Smith or Cotter back from the Blues!
4:21 if scotland actually wanted to win games v the likes of South Africa and Ireland, the wingers shoukd be Graham and Steyn. Ive been saying this since before the world cup
@@thereader6667 no cos he scored 4 v romania (I think) and shoukd have passed to VDM V south africa. Still convinced he didn't pass bevayse it was VDM and they obviously are competing for top try spot
Missed opportunity to give less experienced players an opportunity. It’s Fiji’s 2nds XV and GT is flogging these players for 2 weekends in a row after numerous club matches. How much can be gained from this? Could have rested many ahead of SA.
I support the Springboks then Scotland. Scotland give Fiji a hiding. But i feel sorry for Scotland against the World Champs. Springboks win by 12 points plus😊🙏
@EggchasersRugby think GT just doesn't rate him. Fair enough his box kicking is probably the weakest part of his game but he is so electric with the ball
@Deadlift14 GT has obviously never rated him. I thought maybe Finn Russell didn't like playing with him and was able to influence selection but I'm sure Townsend isn't a fan
Thanks for your coverage of Scotland rugby Tim. And indeed the URC, much appreciated 😊
Will be cheering on Scotland as an England fan :)
Hope your team put it past the AB
@ahairyhaggis1449 Thanks Mr Haggis

Like you I would have had Wee George playing this week even for a half

Graham has been injured since the World Cup warm ups, but yeah he should be.
@thereader6667 he played in the world cup?
Didn’t he get injured early on, during one of the warm ups?

Had to put south Africa in the title for views lol
1 Scottish VC, what the hell are they thinking 😱
Every team is going to have the boks in the back of their minds
I reckon Scotland should win against Fiji at home. But not if they underestimate the Fijians.

Its not Fijis 2nds, they are missing like 4 starters, 2 of whom are wingers ...
why do teams name vice captains?
Be careful for fidji but go the Scottish
No one can understand why Matthews is not in the squad.
Fiji must bring the heat for the full 80 and not in patches 🦾
Price should be nowhere near a starting spot

Let's see what the weather's like, lol 😂
Scotland and Fiji fielding their B-teams no need to place a bet on any
Scotland missing 4 out of 23 and Fiji missing 6 out of 23 isn't exactly B teams
Get some Vitamin C down you, Tim - sounds like you’re getting sick - terrible timing!
Should be George Horn
Agreed. I'm assuming not 100%??
@ no clue mate

He played against the Stormers, but he did have a head knock a week or 2 before.
