i play from Pc and controllers are strictly wired connected via USB.
Ace combat 7 is actually one of the simplest game ever to set up because it's plug and play.
You just have to get used to the default layout because it can't be changed.
I've been using the Logitech X56 Hotas regularly for years and I have to tell you that it resists stress very well.
Sometimes I maintain it by cleaning it from dust and I oil the central spring of the stick.
Other games like Microsoft Flight Simulator or this one ua-cam.com/video/Yx9Wiq4vneQ/v-deo.html , you can set the controls as you prefer but the general setup is more complicated.😉
