SAN PABLO ISLAND, HINUNANGAN, SOTUHERN LEYTE, PHILIPPINES: Join us on this adventure to the beautiful, unspoilt and relaxing beaches of stunning San Pablo Island in Southern Leyte, located a short Banka ride off the coast of Hinunangan. With it's beautiful, unfrequented, white sand and pebble beaches, San Pablo island offers panoramic views at sunrise and sunset. Known locally as Pong Gamay (small island), San Pablo is the smaller of twin islands. San Pablo (St. Paul) and San Pedro (St. Peter) are named after the patron saints of Hinunangan town. San Pablo island is less than 1 km long and half a km wide, and comprises a barangay with fewer than 100 houses.
