Honestly, this wall of vending machines looks like somewhere you would go to when want to eat but your friends are indecisive. Give everyone the same(ish) amount of money and let them pick their machines
Story goes that the shop owner loves retro vending machines. He started fixing them and filling them with nostalgic items. It's now a popular tourist stop.
It'd be strange but I wish we had this in America. Especially around work places when lunch is short or gas stations where you're the only one working and can't leave to do anything.
A Japanese island full of cats A Japanese city full of vending machines A Japanese cemetery park Many gaming and anime stores What else does Japan offer?
Japan is a country of contrast. The massive bustling cities, full of neon lights, shops and people everywhere. The peaceful countryside, full of nature, trees, waterfalls, birds, animals. For me, Japan seemed to have picture perfect vistas everywhere I went. Definitely worth a visit.
How about fresh markets filled with nothing but delicious food? Seriously, from my 5 star hotel I walked 30 feet to see street food by the mile. Even at 3am looking for late nite bites I stop in a 24 hour combini for ramen better than American restaurants can make. I miss Japan
It's on my Japan Bucket list, the Noodle ones atleast were built in the 60's and are the stuff of legend to the point they make Model kits of them and if you can ever see one working with the door open it's brilliant, it pours in hot water to heat them and then spins it out to evenly transfer the heat and then adds the broth.
@@kilomeryn i thought so too, and with the burger one maybe it was frozen and then go through a microwave? But that noodle is what puzzling for me especially because it came out unsealed
There’s probably hot air blowing inside the popcorn vending machine instead of an actual microwave..As for the ramen, i think the noodle might be cooked and dehydrated..So you’d just need to add hot water.
Man I wish we had cool vending machines like that everywhere. I mean it's cheap and convenient and it sounds fun. Only times I'm ever around vending machines are at the hospital or snack machines at university.
America needs some of these its annoying going to a gas station to get the crappy food they sell for quick lunch or getting fast food that makes ya feel bad.
It'd be fun to have so many vending machines next to each other in your city. You can get whatever you're craving at any part of the day and night and it makes for a nice hang out spot
It's already pretty awesome to have some many vending machines in one area that actually work. It's another level that they actually put out decent hot food! Great video Aki. 👍🏿
What I want to know is how the hell some of those machines work!? I wanna see the mechanism that puts a microwave popcorn bag into a microwave, runs it, takes it back out again, then drops it out of the slot like that. Or the machine that assembles the ramen like that into a perfect pour. That's gotta be some FASCINATING tech to watch.
As an avid snowball eater from New Orleans, the machine cheated you out of how much syrup you should’ve got. There should never be any ice showing, the syrup should completely cover all the ice. It’s not a big deal but lowkey *Squidward voice* “you have been CHEATED & LIED TO!”
what surprises me is that despite the age of the machines, they still get topped up. i guess that newness isn't the thing everybody wants. i wish we had such places here in Australia!!!
I burst out laughing at the sponsorship, that was clever ! Also I'm using incognito mode so much that I forgot that I was logged in my account and almost forgot to give a like lol 😂
While hard, I can understand the owner finding the vintage vending machines but I wonder how he gets vintage style items for inside. Like those burgers look like they’re from the time that vending machine was made but obviously they aren’t that old otherwise they would be very off. It must be hard to keep all these vending machines stocked when they all have such unique items.
That place looks awesome. It seems like a fun place to do a little food/random thing shopping. There's many vending machines to choose from with their own thing which is great. Also, for people who have trouble talking to other people, there's no sales person you need to talk to plus it's not needed if you know how to use a vending machine (I know it's easy to use those but for people like me who can't speak Japanese, figuring out what most of the buttons say would probably be the only issue).
Aki great video! Japan has alot of Vending Machines, With Good Fresh Foods, They even do Cooked Food in Vending Machines, And Different Stuff to, Thats Cool!
Fun fact at 0:41 the vending machine showed here is managed by a nice old man. for more information you can watch a UA-cam video about him just search: "Curry rice vending machine"
Honestly, this wall of vending machines looks like somewhere you would go to when want to eat but your friends are indecisive. Give everyone the same(ish) amount of money and let them pick their machines
Honestly, that actually also sounds like a decently fun video idea.
Unless you have picky friends who wouldn't something out of a machine
I never knew that there are vending machines that served microwave popcorn.
That sounds really fun I would love to do that with a group of friends!
You sound like the mom friend lol
The way Aki drops the sponsorship never disappoints me
I was so confuse on why was she using the empty machine lmao
The sponsor transition in this video is my favorite from aki so far
Very creative way of doing an ad in the video!
@@King_Of_Gaywas just about to comment that
I actually really enjoy the way Aki introduces the sponsors
Story goes that the shop owner loves retro vending machines. He started fixing them and filling them with nostalgic items. It's now a popular tourist stop.
i always say imaa catch her ads but she keeps surprising me every time damn shes so creative 😂
It'd be strange but I wish we had this in America. Especially around work places when lunch is short or gas stations where you're the only one working and can't leave to do anything.
omg yes!
A Japanese island full of cats
A Japanese city full of vending machines
A Japanese cemetery park
Many gaming and anime stores
What else does Japan offer?
onsen, hot springs, and geisha

Don't forget all the different kinds of cafes
Godzilla and Ultraman

I definitely need to come to this city when I go back to Japan next time, there’s just so many interesting places to go to in Japan
Any advice for those who would like to visit Japan in the future?
It's on my Japan Bucket list, the Noodle ones atleast were built in the 60's and are the stuff of legend to the point they make Model kits of them and if you can ever see one working with the door open it's brilliant, it pours in hot water to heat them and then spins it out to evenly transfer the heat and then adds the broth.
very nice video I would love to visit this city for no reason in particular
I would visit Tokyo to try out its vendind machines.
Same
Hello sumito, always good to see you lurking
Dammit Sumito, Greece has enough vending machines!
I would just live there for vending machine
I love how many vending machines are out there and have all kind of different things. The empty vending machine, nice transition 😆👍😁
It's definitely amazing to see so many vending machines in Japan.
I really want to be able to see what happens inside the microwave popcorn and ramen vending machines. How do they work?
i think for the popcorn one, i think they have an uncooked version inside, some sort of a small and simple microwave.
A teeny tiny Japanese person sits inside and puts popcorn bags in a microwave then pops it down the shute when it's ready
Fun fact: The burger lasts so long because it is actually frozen inside of the machine, not refrigerated.
the place has that "retro futuristic" look as in it is old and worn out but looks high tech at the same time.
Wow! You should do a part two! How interesting, I wish my country would have a place like that .
Man I wish we had cool vending machines like that everywhere. I mean it's cheap and convenient and it sounds fun. Only times I'm ever around vending machines are at the hospital or snack machines at university.
The way she just sponsored the Sakurako by taking out from the empty vending machine🤣🤣 and confusing all of us at the same time was epic😘
Although some of the vending machines are clearly aged, I'm impressed that they are still kept up and stocked with the vintage-styled products.
The fact many of them are vintage alone is cool.
Your channel is literally the only one where I‘m looking forward to seeing the sponsorship. 😂
America needs some of these its annoying going to a gas station to get the crappy food they sell for quick lunch or getting fast food that makes ya feel bad.
Dude, you do really have the best sponsor introductions XD well played Aki, well played.
I wish the mall I go to here in the states had cool machines like those 😢
9:41 THAT IS THE SADDEST SNOW CONE I HAVE EVER SEEN LOL
That edit where you blacked out the carnumber?
*(Muahm!)*
Chefs kiss!

this is my fav content from Aki so far
I love watching these vending machines videos makes me want to go Japan

Man I can’t wait to go to Japan it’s my dream vacation.
I'm happy to see the homemade curry machine is still there. I hope that nice old farmer is doing well.
Honestly that SO MUCH food but it all looks so fun to eat!
Gotta love the sponsorship segways. So creative!
off topic but that sponsor transition was SMOOTH
I love these nook and cranny places in Japan! More vlog of these unique places please!
I have seen this place in another video, but I can't remember whose video it was. Thank you for sharing! You are always entertaining!
You catch me of guard with all your ad reads. I feel like a toddler playing peekaboo and always getting surprised when I should know better lol
2:43 great job on censoring that license plate lmao
That looks like a cool place to have a meal! Thanks for sharing!
Aki: " It's dusty in here".
Also Aki: Wearing a mask WITHOUT covering her mouth.
I love your transitions to ads. Almost feels like a game to not get caught out by them lol
That was enjoyable! Surprisingly there's still several places like this all over japan. I want to atleast see one of them.
What I want to know is how the hell some of those machines work!? OMG AKI THATS THE BEST SAKURACO ADS!!! i was like that vending is empty like why did she put the coin??im tearinng up..thats unexpected..
that sponsor transition was smooth
OH! I think The Red Curry Vending Machine 0:40 is the one that a rice farmer cooks himself and refills himself.
Indeed. I recently saw that video from Great Big Story :D God bless his soul.
Damn it Aki you keep getting me with these ads. I'm like "oh she's making a joke about blank" and then it's an ad. Bravo lol
Cool! they all work and the food is still good. All seemed well kept 👍
Awesome video! Would love to see one day, you get to try all the vending machines, kinda like a 24hr vending machine challenge!
what surprises me is that despite the age of the machines, they still get topped up. i guess that newness isn't the thing everybody wants. i wish we had such places here in Australia!!!
2:41 Japan took the concept of the automat and just compacted it down even further.
Paraphrasing John Hammond "Welcome to Vending Machine Park"
Omg that ad placement, excellent as always haha

AKI OMG NOOOO HOW THE CREATIVITY IN THE SPONSER TRANSITIONS AAAAAAHHHH
2:42 hahaha that license plate censorship is on the wrong spot
i have to say, you do an awesome job of incorporating the ads into your videos

You might want to fix the licence plate censor at around 2:44
XD
Loved the vibes in this video this place looks so cool
2:43 - that wasnt blurred/censored properly!
I swear Ali has the best add transitions, you never see them coming
Awesome video. Definitely trying more vending machines on my next trip.
This is a surprisingly cool place
Meanwhile, in America...
"We have chips, soda, water, and melted chocolate bars.
More of these please!! love the different vending machines..
If it exists, there is a vending machine of it.
Moral of the story is, that if you decide to eat from a vending machine, you should always bring oven gloves with you.
istg aki has the smoothest transitions to sponsors
This intro never gets old, love you ate.
I love seeing the different kind of vending machines Japan has to offer and I’m low key jealous, I won’t lie.
Oh this is so cool! I'm totally adding this place to my list.
7:45 that was so smooooth XD

I gave a like because that ad placement was amazing!
I appreciate Aki’s commitment to the bit with the empty vending machine.
Please add more info in the description on how to find this place! :D
I did and you tube removed it 😭😠
I find the use of vending machines in Japan very interesting
I wish we had more of these in America, probably one of the best uses of spare change XDD
