Hungry Fledgling Being Fed - American Robin - Bird Calls and Sounds

- Last year, in my backyard I found an American Robin bird nest. This baby Robin had just hopped out of the nest and started wandering around. I followed the fledgling around until its parents returned. The adult American Robin had brought the baby a worm to eat. This Robin was making loud chirping sounds trying to alert its family. I was watching to make sure the baby Robin was safe and waited until its parents took them into a nearby forest.

Baby Robin! I volunteer every summer at our wildlife rehab and feeding baby robins is one of my things about the summer. They are too cute! What a good mama lovely capture!
It looks like it was too young to leave the nest. Hopefully it will be strong enough to fly into the trees for protection

Yes, this bird left the nest few days too early.
The exact time they leave the nest is dependent on environmental factors as well as growth stages. If it has wing feathers at all, it is technically ready to leave the nest. They will stay in a bit longer if they feel safe, but if the parents or chicks detect that predators or other birds have found their nest site, they will jump out as early as they can. They don't need to be able to fly yet, they can hide in bushes and such. They only need to have enough feathers on their bodies to keep themselves warm during the night. The parents will hide the chicks in different places, so that if one is found by a predator, the others may still survive. But if they are found while still in the nest, all may be lost all at once.

What if the universe just is? What if the laws of physics yet to be known reveal that creation is prefereable to any alternative? What difference would it make if the universe was just allowed to be without a creator?
Not to mention, the existence of the universe proves the existence of Loki, Odin, Apollo and Krishna as mush as it proves the existence of Jesus, Allah or Yahweh. Why not believe the universe is going to be eaten by a giant snake and conssumed by a war between the gods during Ragnarok if you already believe that the world will end with dramatic showdown between god and his followers and satan and his spawn?
It's all equally stupid to me and gets us nowhere to actual morality or guidance in life. its just stories we tell ourselves to remind us of our values. Just be humanists and do good and find meaning in doing and being good. Its not like people have fun being evil, its usually just a mental deficiency on their part since they typicaly always lose as well.
those kinda robins never last a day in my neighborhood. are stray cat population is wild af
It was probably dead within a day or two. It couldn't stand on its feet and couldn't fly . Dinner waiting to happen for a cat.
